It poured an orange-gold color with an off-white head. The aroma was tropical with notes of fruits, and caramel. The flavor was the same with additional notes of pine, grapefruit, and a touch of earth. A very good and well balanced double pale ale.

On tap at whole foods; poured a amber-orange color with medium to big head. Aroma of earth, fruit, pine, caramel and alcohol. Flavor was very nice and drinkable. Full and rich. Caramel, alcohol, earth, citrus and resin. Good stuff.

Yellowish orange tint pour with white head and lacing. Citrus aroma, nothing out of the ordinary but still very very good. Taste is more of the same, hops, bitterness, grapefruit...I don’t know if I could tell a difference between this and odell’s regular ipa even if they were side by side. Very good nonetheless.

A hazy golden pour with a nice two finger white head. Some lacing. A floral nose with a bit of pine. Flavor is also floral and pine with tangerine. Alcohol is not really tasted but it definitely is in there. Flavor wise this could be a regular IPA. It is tasty and nice and not very unlike the IPA I just had.

Appearance: Pours an orange tinted gold with a retaining white head. Leaves behind a great deal of lacing.

Aroma: Humungous orange, grapefruit and pine.

Taste: Juicy citrus (orange, grapefruit, pineapple) like hop explosion followed by a deep pine bitterness held together with a fair amount of dry pale malt. Bitterness lingers for a decent duration.

Mouthfeel: Full bodied, sticky with modest carbonation.

Overall: An above average DIPA with an amazing hop bouquet and the malt knew it’s role.

On draft at O’Dell Tasting, Marlowe’s, Denver. Pours a slightly hazy copper with a white head. Nose is wonderfully citrusy with a nice bitter background- grapefruit, apricot, kumquat, loquat, etc with a bit of booze. Flavor is similar- citrus burst all over it with a nice supporting malt backbone with a bit of grass in there, too. Booze bursts on the scene somewhere in there and is more noticeable as the beer warms. Medium-bodied IIPA, and enjoyable.

Cloudy orange, thin white head. Clean, fresh hop aroma, mixed with a little bit of brown sugar. Soapy hop flavor, in a good way. Trust me on this. Nice bit of brown sugar and caramel malt finish. Tasty, hides it’s ABV pretty well.
