Full sample pour of deep golden with full white head. Nose is fully hopped, quite bitter and strong. Nice grapefruit and Simcoe hops. Nice. Flavor is full and bold. Heavy hop with rich bold citrus and spice. Healthy.

Bottle from Chase, thanks! Pours clear yellow, medium head. Aroma is fruity with some bready malts. Taste is sweet, with a some bitterness at the end, i prefer their regular IPA.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, clear amber pour with white, fruity clean hop aroma, taste comes through with pineapple, grapefruit and passion, some caramel but in it is a delightful DIPA.

Bottle thanks to adnielsen ! Pours a deep golden copper color with a finger of eggshell foam. The nose is sweet with fruit punch, pineapple, peach and a trace of gamey cat piss. The palate follows the nose with round sweet fruit, tropical hop notes, fresh grass, flower petals and a touch of spicy earthy bitterness that creeps in on the backend... round full mouthfeel.

355ml bottle courtesy of JohnRMurdoch - clear deep golden, no head, sweet hop and alcohol aroma, tropical fruit and alcohol flavour, high carbonation, oily texture, alcohol citrus aftertaste

355ml bottle from Hippo Beers. Orange amber colour, not much head, lot of sediment. Sweet hop aroma. Fruity cereal hop flavour. Resin alcohol hop aftertaste. Too strong for me.

Bottle through trade poured an amber color with a thin coating of white head. Aroma has light tropics, sweet bready malt, perfume, and fruits. Mouth feel is medium and the carbonation on the lower side. Flavor has a nice bright hoppy side but it is not bitter and the alcohol is suprisingly light. Nice fruity hops, light sticky sweetness, bitter citrus, mild resins, and some perfume. Nice and balanced for a big hoppy double.

Keg @ The Earl of Essex. Great beer. You never would think that it is 9.3%. Full of hop aroma and sweet malts. They have managed to keep the taste full and the abv up without having the overpowering alcohol aftertaste that you get from so many of these beers. Not served too cold here either so you can get a real feel for the overall taste.

Keg @ The Earl Of Essex 2013/5/7 A bit too strong for my liking. Generally avoid this ABV. It’s a well crafted beer but too sweet and alcoholic for me. Nonetheless a great DIPA perhaps only lacking in that extra dose of hops to hide the alcohol notes. Carbonation and head retention both good.

Pours copper, nice foamy head. Nose of fruity hops, lemon, grass, kiwi, orange peel, and flowers. Very well balanced compared to most Imperial IPAs. Flavors of orange peel, lemon, followed my floral malts. A bit of heat on the finish, but other than that a great beer and I am not a huge fan of IPAs..
