3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A slightly hazy golden yellow with big white head with good retention and great lacing. Aroma is mainly tropical fruit with a hint of sweetness and floral. You get the tropical flavors in taste with a bit of caramel sweetness and a strong herbal bitterness that lingers for a bit then dissipates. Mouthfeel is somewhat oily with a medium body and high carbonation. Starts off more bitter than I usually like but bitterness fades and you are left with some stickiness and a fairly clean palate.

Julie says it is not her type of beer. It is very hoppy and taste like licking an old air freshener Julie gives it a 0.1

4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Pours the color of a DIPA should. Wow, this is so balanced between hops and malt, that the 9.3% ABV is as hidden as Jimmy Hoffa. Overall, a great DIPA, perhaps the best on the market.

4.9 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Wow, this is what I was looking for. Everything you want in a double IPA. Wonderful hop nose. Terrific balance of hop bitter and malt. This recipe blows away the Odell double IPA I recently rated. This is a great brew!

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Lots of pine. Lots and lots. Pine. Light orange amber with a thick lasting foamy off-white head that leaves a thick coating on the glass. Much more balanced than the aroma was indicated. Smooth sweet maltiness compliments the crisp pine bitterness. I wouldn't have guessed more than 7% until a few minutes after when a warmth comes up from the back of the throat. Very nice.

Another excellent O’Dell brew! Very sweet with slightly sour notes that really complement the hops well. Balanced and sessionable yet so quenching and full of flavor and body.

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle: Copper colored pour, good clarity, topped with a monster white head. Heavy lacing throughout. Hoppy aroma, pine and citrus, but mostly pine. Very aromatic. A piney taste, resin, and Pinesol… or at least what I think Pinesol would taste like. A little harsh in the tail, seemingly the Pinesol or ABV coming through more than it should. Snappy, but in negative way. If the flavor would have been on par with the nose we’d have a winner… as it sits I’ll pass on this one.
