3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. The pour was a hazy golden yellow with an average sized white creamy head that reduced down to some puddled residue, which clung onto the edges of the glass and lasted throughout creating some excellent streaky lacing.
The aroma was strong of a floral hop, a grain malt and a soapy yeast with notes of grapefruit, orange and a bit of honey.
The taste was bitter and mildly sweet with a nice fruity citrus note (orange) and a hint of honey in the beginning, and then became much bitterer and had a nice hoppy grapefruit finish. The flavor lasted a good longtime letting the taste of bitter hops and a light sweet citrus flavor combine on the taste buds.
Mouthfeel was just a shade beyond light in body with a bold dry texture and a lively carbonation.
Overall a very flavorful DIPA with a nice sweet fruity twist and the perfect balance of hops, which totally concealed the high alcohol content.

0.33l bottle. Golden to amber color, white head. Aroma is, guess what, all about hops: grapefruit, other citral notes, herbs, spices, name it.....Taste starts a bit sweet, some malt and bread, thick mouthfeel, high bitterness which fits perfect to the character of this brew.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This has a great, fresh, hoppy double IPA aroma thatís thin on the nose, a little resinous, with a touch of alcohol. It has a thin mouthfeel, but the palate is thick with hoppy oils. This is a potent double IPA. Itís hard to stomach on a screwed up belly. Itís a shame I canít truly enjoy this right now, because itís very good, with a nice malt presence.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Copper with a thin white head. Earthy dank aroma. Stalky fermenting hops flavor that all but subdues the malt.

Bottle pale light hazy orange witha full light tan head. Big full hop aroma. Mostly citrusy, pretty heavy palatte and smooth modest carbonation.. Bitter, but not harsh or soapy. Would not have guess the 9+%

Draft at Glendale Yard House. Now thatís good imperial IPA. Lots of fruity hops with enough bitterness but not palette crushing. Very tasty.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a pretty orange with a melon colored hue. Cloudy and softly glowing. A finger of creamy foam to cap this beautiful color and it falls pretty quickly and leaves a small ring and cap. Some patchy lacing. Nose is grapefruit and strawberry. Has a melon like scent that is light and inviting. The malt lifts itself up to the nose only slightly with a touch of sweet promise. Thereís something leafy in there and I will have to call it herbal. Breath of sugar. Taste is light and has a bit of depth. The fruits are ripe and juicy, the hops are floral and bright, thereís a touch of alcohol on the palate. The middle of this beer is malty but not bready. It makes the mouthfeel fuller that what you might expect and itís a bit sticky. Has a juicy and semi dry finish where this mysterious leafy taste comes back. It gives the beer an herbal depth. I donít what it is but I like it very much. The bitter stays in the aftertaste and the clear taste of the fruit juices and the grapefruit peel lingers.
This is one fabulous DIPA. Thanks Bill =)

Draft. Pale in the glass with a small off-white head. Subdue floral aroma. The flavor found floral, with a well blended caramel backing. Medium body and medium hop.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Nice orange pour with a shirt lived white head. Aroma is straight up hops right out of the bottle. Tropical, musty stone fruit, peaches, kiwi, this hop profile is all over the map in a good way. Flavor falls down a bit. Just a bit to sweet for its own good and it gets left slightly out of balance. Alcohol burn is present going down Good beer though.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
12oz bottle. Aroma is hoppy... thats about it. Appearance is a hazy golden with some lacing. Taste is hoppy, but but like an way unripe peach flavor as well. The hop flavor is soft though, not way in your face. Palate is hoppy. Overall, an interesting ipax2. Would like to try on draft.
