Pours a large, frothy, white head that is in no rush to dissipate. Crispy like an apple, bright like a white, body of a wheat, palette like a sessionable IPA. Very chuggable and summer friendly. Odell, you never let me down. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at republic 7 corners. Slightly hazy dark yellow with very thick bubbly white head. Light fruit and grain nose. Nice body. Some citrus. Pretty well balanced. Not bad at all.

Tap at Republic Seven Corners. Pint glass. Beer of the Day. Golden, unfiltered, and effervescent. Full bodied white head. Almost a finger. Aroma is citrusy and has more grain than anticipated. Taste is pretty simple with hoppy notes and citrus but limited bitterness. Relatively refreshing in the summer. Aftertaste of pine that doesn?t linger. Pretty decent but no "wow" factor.

Draft. Pours a medium off white, well retained head, with Belgian curtain lacing, over a hazy gold (SRM 5) body.....nose is grapefruit, grapefruit peel, light cereal, herbal hints, hop dominated.....taste is slightly sweet, with grapefruit, grapefruit peel, hints of wheat cereal, hop dominated.....mouth feel, medium body, slightly sticky, no alcohol, moderate carbonation. This is a nice showcase for American hops such as Simcoe, Citra, Cascade, Centennial, as the hops are utterly dominant in both aroma and flavor. It is a bit off as an IPA because there are supposed to be malts present in both aroma and flavor. It would be interesting to sample the hop backbone against a more traditional malt which would have more caramel/crystal, leading to more toffee/caramel notes. BJCP 8/3/14/4/7

Pours a light gold color with a nice foamy head that slowly fades. A bit yellowish. Super citrus aroma. A bit more bitter than Iíd like, but still very citrusy. Malt is a little thin, and could have a richer flavor. It just tastes a bit plain in that way. Nice thin body with good carb.

UPDATED: MAY 15, 2015 Bottle. Lightly hazed gold with a medium-sized white head and little retention. Hoppy aroma is fruity-citric in the way of apricot and lemon and pineapple, but also smells a bit grassy and resinous like a bag of pellets. Medium-light bodied, light to moderately sweet, strong raw bitterness. Wheat and malt is mostly transparent, lightly bready and cracker-like, but not providing enough body, which leaves it watery and thin. Overall itís better than average quality for Odell, no faults or flaws, but itís also pretty basic and boring.

Relatively bland, like an IPA for people who donít like IPAs. Crisp and refreshing with a hint of herbal pine hop but thatís about it.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy gold with visible small carbonation. Head is pillowy, mixed-grain, and white with copious lace. Nose is lemon, biscuity, dry floral, and just a touch of perfume/incense. Heavy hops bitterness in the front, along with a perfumed, floral note and an odd, blocky lactic edge. It comes off a little ungainly. Finish is long and bitter. I just donít think this style works well, though this is solidly made.

Fully hazed milky gold pour. Golden kiwi, coriander, pear skin aroma. Juicy and pillowy, though hiding an intense herbal astringency that is closer to soap than any plant. Clementine, white pepper, Kleenex. Lots of surface area here, little depth.

Pineapple and citrus zest flavor with a fair amount of white spruce like resin. The fragrant character of it is pleasant, but like the aroma it tends to get waxy and papery. Maybe phenolic, or just a weird amalgam of pungent spices and highly herbal hop character.

Doughy, full texture; though the carb is crisp and lively, this is quite heavy to drink. There are some nice ideas represented here, and this example has its moments; this could optimistically be viewed as a small victory for a brewery whose capability with subtlety is seemingly limited.
