COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Inspired by our small-batch pilot system, the Roots Release series honors our experimental brewing roots and invites you to sample some of our favorites. The Perle hop shines in this crisp white IPA. An herbal and fruit-like hop character mingles with the delicate wheat for a clean crisp finish that will leave you smiling.

Pours a large, frothy, white head that is in no rush to dissipate. Crispy like an apple, bright like a white, body of a wheat, palette like a sessionable IPA. Very chuggable and summer friendly. Odell, you never let me down. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy gold, decent head, smells of fruity hops. A little bit of the malt flavor but covered by a fair amount of hops. Not as hoppy as I would expect from an IPA but still a pretty nice brew for a hot day.

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle. Citrusy, orange, doughy, fruity yeast esters. An herbal bitterness in the finish.

Pours a translucent straw into the glass with a tight cap of suds that leaves lasting soapy lace. The nose is gorgeous, heavy of orange, floral/grassy hops and lots of citrus peel, rind and zest. Flavors are lighter, some citrus and wheat, backed with a citrus peel and grassy bitterness. The mouthfeel is active and medium-bodied, leaving the palate satiated and complex, yet not overdone. This definitely feels like a brew that was brewed by brewers for what they like in a beer. And no one can be faulted for that. Kudos! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Boise Taphouse. Compared to my favorite white IPA, Chainbrraker, this one is a bit lacking. Decent but weak.

Tap at republic 7 corners. Slightly hazy dark yellow with very thick bubbly white head. Light fruit and grain nose. Nice body. Some citrus. Pretty well balanced. Not bad at all.

Tap at Republic Seven Corners. Pint glass. Beer of the Day. Golden, unfiltered, and effervescent. Full bodied white head. Almost a finger. Aroma is citrusy and has more grain than anticipated. Taste is pretty simple with hoppy notes and citrus but limited bitterness. Relatively refreshing in the summer. Aftertaste of pine that doesn?t linger. Pretty decent but no "wow" factor.

Draft. Pours a medium off white, well retained head, with Belgian curtain lacing, over a hazy gold (SRM 5) body.....nose is grapefruit, grapefruit peel, light cereal, herbal hints, hop dominated.....taste is slightly sweet, with grapefruit, grapefruit peel, hints of wheat cereal, hop dominated.....mouth feel, medium body, slightly sticky, no alcohol, moderate carbonation. This is a nice showcase for American hops such as Simcoe, Citra, Cascade, Centennial, as the hops are utterly dominant in both aroma and flavor. It is a bit off as an IPA because there are supposed to be malts present in both aroma and flavor. It would be interesting to sample the hop backbone against a more traditional malt which would have more caramel/crystal, leading to more toffee/caramel notes. BJCP 8/3/14/4/7

Pours a light gold color with a nice foamy head that slowly fades. A bit yellowish. Super citrus aroma. A bit more bitter than I’d like, but still very citrusy. Malt is a little thin, and could have a richer flavor. It just tastes a bit plain in that way. Nice thin body with good carb.
