This time of year in the Rockies, one day can span all four seasons. Morning snow gives way to afternoon sun, sending fresh snowmelt into our rivers and into our mash tun. With a complex malt backbone dry hopped for notes of citrus and pine, its almost as surprising as the season itself.

Tap at aster cafe. Pint glass. Light Copper with small off white head and good lacing. Smells Malty and grainy ,like your in the brewery. Very complex malt and hop combination. Malty at the beginning, then finished hoppy. A lot going on. Very full body as well. And aggressive beer.

On Tap at "The River Room" Whole Foods, Boise Hazy redish amber with a huge dense creamy light tan head. Very sturdy and leaving thick sheets of lacing, Big resinous hpp;y aroma. Flat grassy hop flavor though and a strange watery taste as well. This started out promising but left me a bit dissapointed.

Golden, light brown. Thin head. Basic fresh grapefruit hop, sweet crystal/caramel notes, hops are leafy citrusy. Good, nothing too special.

Aroma: The nose is grapefruit and pine hops with a solid malt presence as well
Appearance: Pours a reddish-orange color with a decent sized beige head and good lacing
Flavor: The taste is pretty balanced, with a nice hoppy flavor and some good malt backing
Palate: The body is medium, with a clean, easy-drinking feel, and a smooth, mid-dry finish
Overall Impression: I thought this was a very nice red IPA. No major issues for me. It had a really nice flavor and a good feel as well. I could drink a ton of this one.

I was impressed by the fruity flavour of this India Pale Ale. On the nose this beer is hoppy and spicy. Recommend to try

On tap. Comes a clear reddish brown with a nice off-white head. Aroma of citrus, pine, and malt. Taste is grapefruit, pine, and caramel malt. Nice, but not exceptional.

Smooth, flavorful beer. Not too hoppy like some IPAs can be. Nice amber color. Ill have this again.

Best by 02JUL14 Pours rusty with a broken sheet of yellow foam. Smells of tea, ESB malt, some grass and pine. Fairly simple and faint nose. Flavor is fairly subdued with malt up front, some caramel and some bittering hops - but not much. OVerall somewhat of a sweet flavor profile. Medium bodied with silky sharp carb and a wet finish. Okay beer, more of a classic amber Id say than a Red IPA.
