4.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
750 ml corked and caged bottle. Pours murky orange-brown with a thick deep-beige head with great retention; leaves some cobwebby lace. Aroma is bretty, doughy, yeasty, mineral-like. Taste starts out sweet before turning lightly tart and finishing with a dry bitterness. Flavor is strong in oak, with vanilla and artisan caramel candy flavors filling the mouth. Musty basement flavors are strong, too. An off-note of metal in the finish doesn’t bother me too much. This one really exceeded my expectations, given the reviews on here. It’s pretty yummy.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
4/5/12 shenanigans. bottle and tap at azwine.
Dark crimson ow head.
A is big barrel stink... To the point it stinks of medicine and cinnamon....bs, umami, rich overripe fruit, apples, red grape juice, yeasty, cherry.
F is the same...very well balanced... Brett is very mild and only in the bckground. dries out crazy on the finish. Oak shows in the form of umami.
Picks up some sourness as it sits.
Cant wait to see what it does with some time.
tap version is more tart but far less funky.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Tap @ Star Bar. Reddish orange appearance with a cream colored head. Hay, slightly floral, tart, herbal, light fruity aroma. Flavor has a wild yeasty aroma reminiscent of Hiverrano- herbal, woody, a bit fruity. Tangy, a bit tart, toasty malty, light caramel flavor. Not very good.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Taster at Odell. Pours a deep red with an off white head. Oak nose with citrus. Med body - very smooth with a crisp citrus layer on top. Oak and vanilla soak the mouth with more lemon. Layered finish with more oak, vanilla and some light citrus Brett qualities.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Amber pour with reddish hue and small off white head. Aroma of hay, wood and yeast. Taste of cinnamon, not much more. any taste is overpowered by wood and plastic taste. Not good at all, very dissapointing.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle: Darker copper pour with a large sandy head. Not much of an aroma, but a little sugary sweetness and fruity bits come through. Dissapointing flavor is wet and flat. Maybe a bit musty. Some malt, light fruit, and not much at all in the terms of sour or tart. Got a little plastic at the end. Subpar.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Brownish red in color with a tall khaki head. A mild tartness but lots of different straw, grass, and funky aromas. A bit of citrus peel along with lots of oak and apple. Some bready malt as well. The flavor is sort of mediocre. A bit of plastic in there, too. Subtle tartness and barnyard funkiness as well as the straw, grass, and musty oak.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Brown pour with some reddish edges. Beige head. Aroma is funky, tart, fruity and smells like PVC pipe. Flavor has some funk, yeast ,fruit, oak but the PVC pipe aroma carries to the flavor, green apple. Im not a fan. Odell seems to come close, but never quite hit the mark.
