A mystic legend echoes in our brewhouse - that of St. Lupulin the archetypal hophead. He devoted endless summers to endless rows of hops, tending to the flowers and the beloved resin within - lupulin. Extraordinary oils in this yellow resin provide this dry-hopped extra pale ale with an undeniably pleasing floral aroma and clean, crisp finish. One sip of this seasonal summer ale and you, too, will believe.

Golden semi-translucent appearance. Fairly neutral taste, it’s ok, but doesnt live long in the memory.

12 oz bottle shared with ebone1988 from Dumpster Box No. 2. The pour is a darker orangey gold with a thin white head that leaves a little soapy lace as it falls down to a thin film. The aroma is surprisingly hoppy. There is a pretty hefty malt presence going on, but the hops do a nice job to keep me interested in it. The flavor is an absolute malt bomb. It's very plain and does not do a good job at anything other than being malty. The mouth feel is awful. Horribly thin and carries just about Jo carbonation and makes it lightly and syrupy. The aftertaste is not good. It's lingeringly sweet and unenjoyable. Ugh. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle shared with koleminer20, out of Dumpster Day box #2. August 27, 2015. Aroma is quite malty, some pine, tropical fruit, citrus. Appearance is amber golden, white head. Taste is quite malty as well, a touch of pine and tropical fruit, but mostly malt. Mouthfeel is medium body, light to medium carbonation, bitter malt aftertaste. Overall, probably past its prime, but this one leaves a lot to be desired.

Pours cloudy orange with a thin white head. Very little aroma to talk of, some sweet citrus. A very malty taste, in fact tons of sweet malts. Nice but very sweet.

More hoppy than delicious malty. I prefer the malty brews. ---Rated via BeerBuddy for iPhone. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Clear light orange golden with a nice frothy white head. Aroma is tropical, caramel. Flavor follows. Medium body. Nice hoppiness all around, but minimal bitterness and surprisingly clean finish. Lots of character but very easy to drink. Very nice.

Bottle at home split with Sarah. Clear bright yellow/ golden coloured pour with a lasting pure white head. Aroma is hop resin, little lemon citrus, grassy. Clear bready malts on the nose. Flavour is composed clean bready grains, light hay, mixed citrus orange and lemon citrus hop, light grassy, resinous hop. Very well balanced and sessionable. Palate is medium light, little hop resin on the tonuge. Very clean ferment. Really tasty.

Aroma is citrus, floral and candy hearts. The flavor is citrus, fruit, candy hearts, malts and a mix of bitter and sweet in the finish. A little more sweet than expected, very balanced but just enough bitterness to remind you its an APA.
