A mystic legend echoes in our brewhouse - that of St. Lupulin the archetypal hophead. He devoted endless summers to endless rows of hops, tending to the flowers and the beloved resin within - lupulin. Extraordinary oils in this yellow resin provide this dry-hopped extra pale ale with an undeniably pleasing floral aroma and clean, crisp finish. One sip of this seasonal summer ale and you, too, will believe.

Bottle pours a very hazy orange, light amber with a small but persistent sandy colored head an spotty lacing. Light sweet malt aromas, fruity and a little citrusy hops. Some sweet hop flavor, but very little bitterness. A little bite at the end, but malty and smooth and fairly sweet for an extra pale

allmyvinyl (3091) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - NOV 5, 2013
355ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours a surprisingly orange-gold, thin white head, good lacing. Aromas are pine, resin, grapefruit. Taste has big bitterness. Palate is thin, but refreshing. Rather wish I was drinking this in June... not November... Very nice beer though.

355ml bottle. Minimally cloudy golden colour with average, thick, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Slightly piney, resinous hoppy aroma, caramel malty basis with a biscuit touch, hints of orange zest. Taste is minimally sweet caramel malty with a biscuit touch, resinous and minimally piney hoppy overtones, a touch of orange zest. Precise, focused APA.

355 ml bottle.
Pours clear copper color with a large head. Aroma of floral hops, fresh fruits, pine, some caramel malts and hay. Flavor of sweet fruits, resinous hops, some pine, caramel and faint syrup also. Soft carbonation, smooth and mildly malty bitter palate. Very drinkable, and not too malty as I first feared. Good.

Bottle from Drinkmonger. Hazy pale golden body with a massive white head that holds well. Light carbonation. Excellent lacing. Aroma of grass, biscuit, flowers and green pepper. Crisp flavour - pear, caramel and earth. No hint of its 6.5% ABV. Medium body with an oily texture. Very soft carbonation. A fresh, hoppy APA.

This is one of my favorite Odell beers. Solid hop character, resiny flavor, some earthy, citrusy aroma.

lusikka (6184) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 23, 2013
355 ml bottle.
Pours a golden amber colour with a white head. Nice lacing. Aroma of sweet malts, grassy hops and some herbal notes. Flavour of smooth and sweet malts, grassy bitterness, resin, some honey and earthiness. After a while herbal notes are much more clear. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Nice and easy. Not fresh, but still very drinkable and most importantly without off-flavours.
