3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
12oz bottle that pours clear amber. Mellow pine and citrus nose. Well balanced flavors of orange and grapefruit mixed with a honey like sweetness, againist a easy going bitterness. Some pepper in the finish. Easy beer to drink and very enjoyable.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft. Poured a clear copper color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate balanced aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. Soft start but good finish.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Plenty of citrus and perfume in the nose. Nice carmel malts, a little bitterness, more than a hint of onions -Perle? Downgraded about a half point overall. Other than that, love it. "Aside from that, how was the play, Mrs. Lincoln?"

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours copper with great foamy head. Heavy hops on the nose with lemon and floral notes. Very light with some malts, hops and mild bitterness. Very well balanced, yet complexed with flavor. Nose says double IPA, but is much more mellow and easy to drink. Lemon, wheat, citrus fruit, are dominant. Another great beer from Odell!

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a golden color with a lovely white head. Aromas are huge citrus hops and grassy notes. Flavors are slightly bitter and citrusy, then some delicate sweetness, followed by another dash of citrus hops that fade quickly. The palate is thin but the crispness of carbonation is just a little lacking. Overall this is one of my favorite seasonal beers and I can’t wait for its release every year I drink it every chance I get.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
The aroma of this beer is reminiscent of sugar cane diacetyl, and citrus and floral hops, and the appearance combines a clear orangeish golden color with a white ring of foam on the top of the liquid. Once sipped, the superb balance of this beer becomes apparent: the mild sweetness blends with the right amount of mild bitterness, which is only enhanced by the fusion of the medium body, soft carbonation, thin buttery texture, and a finish that is bitter but then abruptly disappears. Overall, this crisp beer kicks in the exact right ways.

Smells like floral hops, malt is present as well. Not overly bitter. This is a really tasty pale ale and I would drink it again.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours a clear gold with three fingers of off white, replenishing head. Good retention and some thin lacing. Aroma is bitter, hoppy, resinous, and mildly citrus. Flavor is hoppy, strong citrus, floral, with a bitter, resinous finish. Moderate carbonation, medium body, and crisp texture. An enjoyable pale ale.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Not bad pale ale. However, surprisingly high ABV for a summer ale, and not as robust in flavor I would expect from an ABV of 6.5. Light and malty, with hop pine and floral notes combined with malt at the front end and residual hop bitterness (not IPA levels tho) at the back end. I'd drink this again but wouldn't seek it out. Was expecting more resiny notes due to the lupulin.
