4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bright gold colour with a good condition and a not too fluffy not too tight white head that stays. Aroma that jumps out first is extremely resinous and hops hops hops. There are spices I just can’t place for the life of me. There’s mango and grapefruit in abundance, tangerine and grain too. Taste is bitter fruits and a very earthy hop note. Something like very juicy, spicy, apples. But not sweet. Bitterness is sharp but kept in check with a slightly persistent odd note on the finish. A little peppery. Overall a beautiful aromatic, clean pale ale with a good hop-forward palate but enough balance to make it properly drinkable.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Poured a slightly hazy medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is grassy hop, pine needle. The flavour is moderate bitter with a lovely mellow fresh citrus, grassy hop, light spice palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a hazy golden color with a medium frothy white head. The aroma is hop heavy with some tropical fruits as well. You also pick up some hop oil in the aroma as well. The taste is sweeter tropical fruits up front and some breadiness but then you pick up the hops and quite a bit of bitterness but not overwhelming. The finish is quite nice with this beer.

I am very impressed as I don’t typically go for pale or extra pale ales much at all! Very rich!! Excellent body, great hop flavor that isn’t too forward or sour. Wonderful job making this one, O’Dell!
