A mystic legend echoes in our brewhouse - that of St. Lupulin the archetypal hophead. He devoted endless summers to endless rows of hops, tending to the flowers and the beloved resin within - lupulin. Extraordinary oils in this yellow resin provide this dry-hopped extra pale ale with an undeniably pleasing floral aroma and clean, crisp finish. One sip of this seasonal summer ale and you, too, will believe.

Yellow orange, thin bubbly white head, some lacing
Aroma of resinous hops, floral nose, zesty citrus, touch of grass hop, light caramel fairly fruity malts, lots of aroma
Taste of citrus hops, resinous hops, nice fruity hops, some floral notes in there, good sweet pale malt background that lets the hops through, no harshness, easy going for 6.5%
Palate medium carb, medium body, little oilt. Palate fairly biting hops with a nice sweet pale malt base. Finish as main flavour, good fresh bitter hop clean finish
Overall - Come across as a very refined IPA and well balanced. Nothing over the top but just well done...great beer

Beautiful floral come across cleanly from a lovely pour. Appearance is hazy straw with fluffy white head. Taste delivers on the promised resin without an overly bitter concoction. Medium body and light, crisp finish might leave some looking for the malt dimension but as a summer seasonal I think they nail it. enjoy in good health ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Keg in Arcadia, Headingly. Golden with a thin frothy white head. Plenty of resinous hop flavour, but quite sweet with caramel undertones. Oily mouthfeel, with a touch too much carbonation as the only criticism. Good.

Bottle. A- Juicy, citrus, piney. A- Orange color, slightly hazy liquid, white head. T- Citrus, bitter, piney, resin, clean. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, crisp finish. O- A good APA, in fact, this may be the only APA I have ever enjoyed. Lots of citrus and balanced well to create a smooth and clean pale ale.

A pretty standard APA. Aromas and flavors are a bit on the lighter side and consist of pine, citrus and caramel malt. Medium bodied with a bitter finish.

Lively light orange pour; lightly dank, hop forward aroma with white peach, lilac, and light pine. Centennial concentrate.

Fruity, sticky hop oil flavor with cotton candy, mineral water, and cantaloupe. This is a familiar balance of hop-heavy and sweet, in the vein of other centennial heavy examples. Floral, bittersweet and pillowy finish.

Palate is oily and medium bodied, with crisp carbonation. This fits a mold for me. It’s a flavorful, quality hop-forward beer that coaxes as much thought out of me as any light lager.

Appearance is light golden and clear, with a thick white, frothy head. Aroma is intensely hoppy. Grassy, mango, grapefruit. Taste is light, bready malt with an assertive but not overly strong hop bitterness. Grassy hop stands out, with a soft orange citrus. Mouthfeel is lighntoedium with a moderate carbonation. Finishes with a lingering bitterness and grassy taste

Keg. Blind Jacks. Knaresborough. Subtle hints of fresh tropical fruit, Passion fruit and mango, aroma. Mild bitterness at back of tongue with the aromas following through with hints of marmalade.

Clear yellow orange in color... Aroma of wet resiny, citrus hops... Flavor is really dry grainy hops, lots of hop residue finish on the palate, like chewing on hops... Kinda rough, little too hoppy for me
