COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A mystic legend echoes in our brewhouse - that of St. Lupulin the archetypal hophead. He devoted endless summers to endless rows of hops, tending to the flowers and the beloved resin within - lupulin. Extraordinary oils in this yellow resin provide this dry-hopped extra pale ale with an undeniably pleasing floral aroma and clean, crisp finish. One sip of this seasonal summer ale and you, too, will believe.

Bottle from total wine. Pours an amber yellow. Two fingers of white white head. Massive floral notes complement the hop aroma. Easy to drink. Mild citrus flavor, as well as the hop and floral flavors finish this one off. Great beer.

When it comes to dealing with hops, Odell has some of the most capable minds in the brewing industry. With St. Lupulin, the Fort Collins brewers take hop oils and resins and extract their subtle fruit characteristics. The hazy yellow body of this pale ale is gorgeous. Head is huge and aromatic with grapefruit, pine, grass, and floral notes. Flavor is mild on bitterness but big on juiciness. Grapefruit, lemon, melon, mango, and pineapple all contribute to a dense, tropical profile. Hoppy oils and resin are palpable in the mouthfeel but the lively carbonation keeps the ale from feeling too heavy or sticky. St. Lupulin is a phenomenal example of American Pale Ale. Even though it’s loaded with hops, the balanced flavor makes it approachable to just about anyone.

Bottle from radimd, many thanks my friend. Deep orange golden color with medium white head. Nice floral hoppy aroma. Nice citrusy, piney hoppy taste with some tangerines. Solid malty backbone. Nice summer beer.

Wow. Great floral pale ale. Golden copper pour. Floral and dry hops in nose with grass and orange peel. Sweet start with lots of bright citrus but finishes oily and bitter. A heavier mouthfeel for a pale ale but it works great with this one. Excellent.

Rich light copper coloured body with a thin tan head. Aroma of very fresh hops with a distinct grassy, herbal and perfumey character throughout. Medium-bodied; Strong malt notes with a good fresh hop balance and a touch of apricot sweetness on the end. Aftertaste shows a lot of grass, some herbs, some light perfume and earth, but mostly this all revolves around a very fresh hop flavour that permeates through this beer. Overall, a very nice APA with a great hop profile and a nice balance of malt to boot - great to sample! Overall, a great APA with a nice fresh herbal and grassy kick that makes the entire beer worthwhilte. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased with my hot dog at Biker Jim’s in Denver, Colorado on 07-June-2014 for US$4,00.

On draft at Wyoming’s Rib & Chop House. The beer is clear and light golden with a thick head. The aroma offers herbal and floral notes, with grass and light pine. Medium bitterness throughout. Grassy and even tart. Some biscuit malt in support. Zesty and tangy. Pretty tasty.

Bottle poured a deep golden hue w/ large foamy white head slowly diminishing to a thin lasting cap. Moderate flowery hop aromas. Initial flavor is faint sweet w/ a bold bitter finish of moderate duration. Tastes are fresh hop and hay. Medium bodied and balanced mouthfeel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

4oz pour at Bridge in STL during RBSG. Clear golden orange color. Thin off-white head. Leaves good, thicker sheets of lace. Medium body. Smooth, kind of soft, lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Very smooth, great texture to it. Caramel malt, light spicy / toasty. Some good citrus hop to it. Moderate sweet taste, light bitter. Good bit of zest to it. Solid, flavorful, complex yet well balanced pale ale. Impressive, without being over-hopped. Good stuff.
