On tap @ brewery. Reddish brown appearance with a cream colored head. Roasty, nutty, toasty, brown malty nose. Nice nutty, roasty brown malty nose with a hint of toffee and chocolate. Probably would a good session beer.

Tap at Odell - a light twist on the style, with some strong notes of vanilla and coffee bean adding some depth to the typical brown ale flavors of roasted nuts and lightly toasty malts - a little bit of molasses in the finish - pretty good.

Draught. Head is mostly diminishing. Body is dark brown. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (cookie, nuts, caramel), lightly hoppy (apricot), with a note of bubblegum. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Fairly straightforward brown ale.
