On tap poured dark brown w/ a creamy tan head fully diminishing. Mild aroma of dark cocoa, brett funk, toast, vanilla and dark fruit. Full body, oily texture and soft carbonation. Flavor is a light sweetness and the sour finish with a sensation of an unlit cigar on the tongue. A balanced sour.

October 30, 2012 on tap at 33 wine. Seemed to be a reddish brown pour but it was dark in the bar. Nice amount of head and lacing. Woody and a fruity funk maybe cherry in the aroma. Taste was consistent with aroma but the sour was not overpowering and the finish was dry with maybe a hint of bitterness.

On tap at Whole Foods Watering Hole. Pours murky reddish brown. Aroma of vinegar, sour wine, and spoiled plums. Extreme oak tones on the taste, with tart dark cherries. The woodiness lingers for a while until a slightly boozy dry finish. The woody taste is prominent without being dominant.

Odell really does some winners with their 750 series these days. This one pours deep brown with a dense tan head. The aroma has dark berries, cocoa, brett funk, nice toast, Belgian earthiness, vanilla and mild oak - very pleasant. Medium / thick body with lots of playful frothy gentle carbonation. The flavor starts with everything on the aroma with sharp tartness along with berries and lemon. The finish has some vinegar and smooth nuttiness. Excellent well balanced beer.

Mini-growler from Total Wine (Park Place) - Pours a hazy brown color with a half finger thick light tan head. Light carbonation and spotty lacing. Aroma is tart esters, light toasted malt, and a touch of wood. Flavor is tart esters, vanilla, and oak. The tartness lingers in the finish. Medium to full body. Pretty nice for a sour beer.

Dark brown pour with a reddish hue with a nice thick tan head. Nose is dark fruit and just a little funk. Really nice carbonation, lots of flavors bouncing around in the mouth - cherry, fruit, a nice tartness and certainly on the sweet side. This really works well together to make a nice balanced beer.

Bottle. Poured a clear brown color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy sour malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy sour & sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet & sour finish of moderate to long duration. This is a solid beer.

750 ml corked and caged bottle poured a clear brown with a lasting tan head. Aromas of carmel, sour citrus, vanilla, barnyard funk, light coffee and a hint of earthiness. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry tart finish. Flavors of cocoa, roastiness, tobacco, sour citrus, barnyard and light basalmic vinegar with a crisp dry tart lingering funky finish.

Dark brown with just a hint of red. No head or lacing, but reasonably carbonated. Nose of musty barn, wine barrel room wood. Tart cherries, brett, oak, and a very slight metallic tinge, but not off-putting. Tart, crisp finish. Very nice.
