Thanks, Jeff! Nice vigorous pour, reddish-brown with a fairly bright countenance. Nose is fairly nice, a dose of tart cherry that leads things off, nice mellow brown beneath and plenty of barrel character. Mouthfeel is nice, balanced with appropriate carbonation, and moderately acetic. More complexity emerges to taste, with plenty of tannins and wild yeasts coming through along with the aforementioned notes. Good one, sure to get better with age.

Odell continues to impress me. Great balsamic vinegar, tart cherries, wet raw wood, leather, and tobacco with a druity tart finish. Tons of flavors and really blends well.

Appearance: Pours an amber brown with a thick off white cap.
Aroma: Fresh bread, bulk foods area at wholefoods with grain and seed, carob, raisin bread.
Taste: Red wine tartness, chocolate malt, subtle spicy hop. Sturdy barrel notes. Finishes tangy.
Mouthfeel: Lively active carbonation.
Overall: Very tasty, and quite unique compared to other sour reds. Not super sour but still funky and tart.

[5099-20130202] Bottle. Chemical floors and smooth wooden floral malt aroma. Murky, amber brown body with a medium-lasting creamy off-white head. Sour floral toasted malt flavour. Medium body. Delicious sour yeast balance. (7/4/8/4/16) 3.9

Dark reddish brown in color, thin tan head. Super Flemish flavors and aroma. Love the sour on this beer and the finish. Very complex beer with a great additions of yeasts.

Pours a deep umber with touches of ruby color and a finger of eggshell foam. The nose is roasted malt, sour cherry, acetic vinegar and a touch of woody funk. The palate follows with a focused palate that is true to style with nice tart cranberry and cherry mingling with brown nut like malt structure. Dry finish that lingers of wood, vanilla and vinous grapes. Thanks adnielsen !

Bottle shared by BeerandBlues2. Poured a ruby brown color with a wispy white head. Aroma is notes of tart malts. Flavor is sweet, tart notes. Pretty refreshing for almost 9%.

750mL thanks to the RB crew at my going away tasting. Pours muddy brown. Weak tan foam. Nose is salty, musty, cranberry, mild cocoa. Taste is salty, dusty, sour cranberry. Lactic body, mild acetic heat. Quite nice. A bit seltzer and thin in the finish.

Bottle shared by BeerandBlues2: pours a clear deep amber mahogany with a spotty-lacing off-white head. Has a lightly sweet toasted dark caramel nose with lots of tart cherries and vinous oak. Starts with good effervescence and sweet biscuity malts with good amount of vinous tartness and oaky complexity before a drier slightly puckering finish. True to style and very enjoyable.
