Bomber from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours cola color with a slight beige head. Sturdy sour aroma. Med body. Flavor is woody, winey and sour. Maybe a little hint of chocolate. Finishes very, very laid back and tasty.

Bottle. Poured a clear brown color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy sour malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy sour & sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet & sour finish of moderate to long duration. This is a solid beer.

750 ml corked and caged bottle poured a clear brown with a lasting tan head. Aromas of carmel, sour citrus, vanilla, barnyard funk, light coffee and a hint of earthiness. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry tart finish. Flavors of cocoa, roastiness, tobacco, sour citrus, barnyard and light basalmic vinegar with a crisp dry tart lingering funky finish.

Bottle shared by BeerandBlues2: pours a clear deep amber mahogany with a spotty-lacing off-white head. Has a lightly sweet toasted dark caramel nose with lots of tart cherries and vinous oak. Starts with good effervescence and sweet biscuity malts with good amount of vinous tartness and oaky complexity before a drier slightly puckering finish. True to style and very enjoyable.

The flavor is moderately tart. Red wine vinegar, some oak, leather, and cherry. Raisin and caramel sweetness, some chocolate, vanilla, and hints of lemon.

2013-02-02. Brown body with a nice tan head. 4+ Musty lightly funky sour aroma, malt. Quite nice 8+ Flavour is similar nice malt core, lightly funky sourness thoughout, modest fruit accents and light earthy notes. 8+ Smooth average body. Would definitely like to revisit this one.
