Pouts deep orange, nose is delicate sweet malts, breadyness, fruity hops, citrus, and mild flowers. Flavor is sweet heavy malts blended with sweet tropical fruits, mild citrus, and light flowery character. Interesting beer.

750 thanks to Holly. Slightly malty and caramel touched by a nice citrus flavor and finish. Pours too much carbonation. Well hopped and nicely balanced. I like this one.

A steady pour into my Bruery tulip produces a three-finger thick, pale, off-white colored head. The beer is a nice copper-amber color that shows a brilliantly clear, yellow-gold hue when held up to the light. The aroma smells of lychee, ripe tangelo zest, a hint of menthol, and an earthy, grassy / straw like note that is a mix of hop and pale malt notes. If you really dig, pale malt notes of wheat crackers starts to come out. As my nose adjusts the hop aromatics take a lemon-zest focus.
Nicely bitter up front, it picks up an herbal, sort of menthol like note in the middle and there is a dried straw like character that lingers along with the bitterness in the finish. A lemon zest like hop note, lighter notes of lychee, grapefruit zest, and even a touch of peppery character that lingers in the finish. This has a green, hoppy character to it; somewhat grassy, slightly menthol like, maybe even a touch like basil. The alcohol is fairly smooth here, it perhaps accentuates the peppery note in the hops. This does have a nice malt character, especially as it warms; the clean pale malt character contributes notes of white-wheat crackers, crushed pale malt, and a slightly nutty pale grain note.
Not bad, but it comes off as a bit disjointed somehow. Still, I am enjoying this, but it certainly doesn’t really seem worth the price tag.

bottle from az wine 7/24/12.
hazy orange with a wispy ow/white head.
really fruity aroma...peachy, odell yeast, orange, pineapple, pale malt, nuttiness, florals-lots, woody caramel and toffee.
the flavor is much the same... only with some carrot-like dirt notes and umami. it is very fruity but dry and spicy. tingly mouth feel.
i like everything about this except the yeast really gets in the way...it makes it sludgy and nutty and doesn’t allow the rest of the beer to shine. it seems to work really well in their ba beers but not this one so much. 7/4/7/3+/15

You knw I have to say I really enjoyed this brew. Good density, deep in color and a lasting creamy head. Smells great revealing the hop profile while allowing the malt to come through. A big style that drinks like a meal.

Bottle wi Ben. Nice aroma. Pale aley. You wouldn’t necessarily assume ’imperial’. Flavour is very nice. Grassy, light citrus hops. Well balanced malty flavour with a palateable bitterness. The alcohol isn’t prominent but you know it was there once it’s washed down. Warming. Pretty nice. A IIPA without the bitterness.

Bottle. Pours golden with a white head. Slightly grassy hop aroma, some hay, also come citrus and caramel, slightly musty. Taste has more of the same, well balanced flavors. Quite fizzy, with a moderate bitterness. Pretty good but perhaps verges on the boring

750ml C&C bottle from discount liquors
Appearance: Pours hazy golden with a medium sized off-white head and some lacing
Aroma: Dusty caramel and pine
Taste: Dusty caramel, grapefruit, piney (green hops) with a dry/sweet finish
It was OK but hard to finish. Sweet and hoppy, not really balanced.

750ml, caged and corked bottle. Lucky I was watching the cork as I was opening. As soon as I got the cage off, I saw the cork rising up by itself. Sure enough, a very loud pop and the cork goes flying across the room. Thankfully, no gusher. Golden in color with an off white head. Aromas of citrus, floral, pine, grass, some tropical fruitiness. Tastes of citrus, tropical fruits, caramel, and lighter floral hops. Juicy with a sweeter fruit finish.
