Colorado...we really love your peaches, wanna shake your tree! Tree Shaker Imperial IPA was brewed with 3000 pounds of pureed Colorado peaches. The bright citrus hop character and subtle fruity sweetness will get your feet tapping and your taste buds dancing. 9.7% to 10.1%.

Pours straw like yellow/orange color with off white head. Tastes of a mild hop character that provides a slight bitterness. I didnít taste any peaches, but I am assuming the sweetness is what balanced out the bitterness from the hops. This beer was very mild for an IPA.

~12 oz tulip glass draft at Martin City Brewing Company in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is a hazed orange golden with an off white head. The aroma is immediately nice soft rounded peach, as much the earth of the skin as the sweet of the fruit, along with additional citrus hops, and a soft toasted malt backbone to balance it out a bit. The taste is the nose, hop forward with citrus, the earthy fruit peach and the toast malt. A lightly pepper, yeast character is present in the back, particularly as the beer warmed. The palate is medium to light bodied, natural unfiltered mouth feel and a decent amount of carbonation. Tasty, refreshing stuff. Well done.

On tap at Martin City Brewing. Comes golden orange with a nice white head. Aroma of citrus, pine, and peach. Taste is grapefruit, peaches, pine, yeast, and malt. Interesting take on the style.

Wow, that is peachy. So much so that I was taken aback at first. Prepare your palate as the sweetness of this will destroy it. Peach, of course, dominates the flavor and aroma of this beer, though there is some citrus hops and some other spices complicating the taste. Tried at a Tap Takeover at the Burger Stand in Lawrence, Spring, 2013.

Pours an unfiltered golden orange with a massive creamy foam head, looks delicious. Aromas are peach, citrus, Belgian spice notes (clove mostly). The flavors here are citrus hop infused peach with some Saison-like spice and warmth then a dash of pine and finally a long very clean peach/apricot finish. The mouthfeel is heavy and in sharp contrast to the flavors in this beer due to that fact it is the least enjoyable part of the drinking experience. Also there is a good three inches of head to wade through before you can even start sipping, and that is from a very careful pour. Overall, this is a very nice experiment. I would categorize this as a Belgian Fruit Imperial IPA, and I know that is going crazy with style conglomeration but this doesnít strictly fit one category. In either case itís a pretty darn good beer and I would keep it around due to itís drink-ability.

750 ml bottle. Pours pale hazy peach orange color with a tight soapy white head that slowly settles to a film and collar and shows sticky lacing. Aroma has yeast and farmhouse scents with nice fruity citrus hops that really donít show any real bitterness, but nice Belgian farmhouse scents. Taste has a subtle, but noticeable hop bitterness, but the farmhouse flavors and yeast really show through along with subtle sweet fruitiness of peach and citrus and lemon zest. Palate is medium a little chalky maybe even gritty and finishes dry. This is very enjoyable if you look past the whole Imperial IPA aspect!

750 ml. corked and caged bottle. Pours a thick, well retained off white head, with hints of lacing, over a hazy dark gold (SRM 7) body.......nose is heavy hops with pine, resin, grapefruit peel dominating, with hints of toffee/caramel......taste is very hop forward with pine, resin, grapefruit, light peach hints, light toffee/caramel, finishing with a clean pine/resin bitterness.....mouth feel medium, lightly astringent, alcohol present and almost fusel in heat, carbonation adds light acid. This is an interesting take on an I/DIPA. The fruit is relatively hidden under the large hop back bone. The result is a beer with light fruit tones rather than a fruit beer. BJCP 8/3/15/4/7

Pour is a hazy orange with a large white head. Aroma is of peach but not as much as I was expecting. Flavor again is a minor peach but I get more of the hops here. Finish is a little boozy and bitter. Itís ok but with this brewer I was expecting a a really fruity IPA that would knock my socks off. The flavors were just kinda there with nothing really being the showcase.

Bright orange pour from the bottle. Peach and citrus aroma. Flavor is peach and citrus forward as well. Tasty and good. Fruity goodness, but missing the a little more hoppy bitterness. Still good.
