Tree Shaker Imperial Peach IPA has roots right here in Colorado. We balanced familiar citrusy hop notes with the subtle sweetness of local peaches. You might say we gave both the tree and the style a playful little shake.

Clear dark gold - tons of floaties - the citric hop notes in the nose play off the moderate peach character surprisingly well, although there is a rather high sweetness to the aroma, as well - flavor is similar - quite a bit of natural peach character adds depth to the citris and other tropical character of the hops - moderate to high sweetness is balanced by moderate acidity and and bitterness, ending with a medium sweet peach character - pretty good.

Bottle. It poured a golden color with a small white head. The aroma was of grass with a touch of peach and sweet malts. The taste was similar to the aroma with more peaches and some bitterness in the backend. Nice.

Bottle from McHughs. Sadly I think this didn’t travel well. Pours amber with heavy sediment suspended like a lava lamp. Aroma is sweet jelly, perfume, peach, schnapps. Sweet juicy peach, citrus flavour with no bitterness. Flat and dead. Will rate again, I’m sure it will be better.

Bottle. Rich peach aroma with some grapefruit citrus hop notes. Pours cloudy golden colored with half a finger of off-white head with good retention and loot much lacing. Starts with lot of peach sweetness with mild citrus hops nuisances. Finishes nicely smooth with only a little bit of grapefruit citrus and acidity at the end. Very nicely balancing IPA!

Bright gold with foamy head and lots of sediment. Aroma - sweet peach and spicy hops. Taste - sweet peach is noticed immediately. Superbly balanced with spicy fresh hops and also ample biscuity malt. The sweet fruity peach, prominent hops and malt backbone come together surprisingly perfectly. Love it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A little disappointed. Nice citrus and fruit aroma. Looks like a Pilsner. Body is light and easy. Flavor of hops up front with a hint of peach that leaves a harsh aftertaste.

Bottle says 7/30/15, I’ll assume that’s best by, so figure 3 months old. Mild peach sweetness. Mild tropical hops. Not much bitterness. Pretty tasty.

Tap at the game in las cruces pours bright orange hue with a nice soapy white head and awesome lacing. Nose is fruity slightly sweet and the peach really shines here. Nice sweet fruity flavors barely any bitterness. Nice novel brew here nothing much else to say.

"Really love your peaches, wanna shake your tree." I loathe that lyric, but who would’ve thought it would inspire the name of such a tasty and original beer? The idea of combining Colorado peaches with citrusy hops is certainly clever. The result is a cloudy orange brew with lots of tropical fruit aroma. Taste is juicy. It doesn’t just highlight peach. There’s some pineapple and orange sensations, too. Somehow, Tree Shaker is able to mask hop bitterness without sacrificing hop flavor. It’s an impressive feat. This may be one of the most approachable Imperial IPA’s out there.
