4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Picked up a bottle with a bud for a relaxed night and ended up getting wasted. This sucker is INCREDIBLE. A very pleasant taste and absolutely nothing like a traditional IPA. The peach is noticeable but not too strong that it overtakes the beer and ruins it. Beware the alcohol content though. It’ll get you towards the end. Overall: A solid twist on the IPA.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
At the apartment with Taylor on a Friday night before Ashtyn’s birthday party. Pours bright orange with a slight haze, layer if white small bubbles. Aroma is neutral hops with a fruity peach and honey dew note. Taste is bitter melon rine, sticky sweet pulp, boozy like a mixed drink that has a vodka burn. Finish is alcohol and sweet melon.

1.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Poured a cloudy golden color with white head. Not much peach on this for the name, some funk and weird hop notes on the nose; followed onto the palate. Something was off for me on this beer. Just didn’t taste good, drain poured the majority of the bottle.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
750ml bottle picked up in Evanston
Pours cloudy golden with a medium sized white head and good lacing. Aroma is mild peaches, tropical fruit and sawdust. Flavors of peaches, fruity, sweet malts, black pepper with a nice sharp bitterness in the finish
A nice change up for a IIPA, easy to drink for 10%

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
750ml bottle. Plenty of peach in the aroma, along with notes of peppery alcohol, faint tropical fruit, citrus and some toasty, brown sugary malt sweetness in the background, some faint pine as well. Hazy light amber in color with a foamy, uneven, lasting head and matching lace. Flavor profile is generously hoppy, fairly bitter, somewhat alcoholic and quite fruity, with a faintly sweet malt backbone, some grapefruit and hop florals appearing late. Highly effervescent, almost prickly mouthfeel, warming and lightly resinous with a full body. Interesting experiment.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours clear golden with a large white head. Smells strongly of peaches and not much else. Taste is peach with subtle hints of wood and bitterness. Medium-bodied with a smooth texture and mild mouth-carbonation, ODell Tree Shaker Imperial Peach IPA finishes with a woody, tannic bitterness.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a hazy golden with a good head and some lacing on the glass.
The aroma is a bit soapy with some bright fresh happiness and some booziness to boot.
The flavor is plenty boozy, it’s got a good fruit expression and some hop bitterness, but all together is pretty darn alcohol forward for my taste.

5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
Peach is very evident but somehow subtle. Excellent brew and not what you think of in an IPA. Still the real deal with alcohol content.
