3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 markwise (3834) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - MAY 10, 2013
Bottle generously shared at RBWG Grand Tasting. Pours a hazy brown with an off-white head. Nose is big malt, some light brandy, some oxidation, wood, brown sugar, and light vanilla. Flavor astounds for an older BA beer, it’s still maintained a fair amount of goodness: big malt, some fruit, some oak, some vanilla, and hints of brown sugar. Medium in body and still very nice.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 thedm (4783) - Fort Wayne, USA - FEB 23, 2013
This bottled brew from a rating party poured a medium sized head of foamy finely sized tan colored bubbles that were and left behind a no visible carbonation hazy brown colored body and a fair lacing. The mild aroma was brown malt and funky. . The mild flavor contained notes of wood and brown malt. A decent one that I would consider drinking again.
