COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Inukshuks were originally created as directional markers and used as landmarks for travelers on the Arctic Tundra. These stone sculptures can now be found all over North America and today they have become a symbol for hope, friendship and hospitality. We can’t think of a better icon for our North American IPA. O’Dempsey’s Inukshuk IPA combines a bitter hop bite and citrus nose with just enough of a malt backbone to achieve a balancing act for your senses. Enjoy.

Bottle. Total Wine. Pours a dull clear amber. Malty caramel body with a faint hop profile. The hops that are there give it an orange touch in the aroma and a grassy herbal finish. Slightly bitter on the back end of the sip.

Perfectly clear amber. Head laces nicely. Very fruity IPA. Most of that come from the hops, but this is also a very malty version of the still. Strong, but not overwhelming bitterness and hop heat in the finish.

From the bottle poured a golden brew with a whitel head. Aromas and flavors of malt and a stron hop bite. Medium bodied but just doesn’t bring it off.

Bottle. Honey color with dissipating head. Smells biscuity and a little floral. Taste is kind of floral too. A bit peppery on the pre-finish with the finish going sweet.

Too heavy, too sweet. I mean, not terrible, i guess, but not what I look for in an IPA. Lots of caramel and toffee, some earthy hops in the finish. Eh...

Bottled. Light straw. Pale ok. India no. 7% whatever. Mild citrus maybe. Fun name/label.

12oz bottle poured into a shaker. From TheBeerSommelier in a trade. Thanks Matt! Pours a very cloudy dark orange with about 3 fingers of thick white head. Aroma of citrus and grassy hops. Taste is light-medium bitter. Citrus, grass and some caramel malt. Medium-full bodied with a thick yet slick texture. Lively carbonation and a long bitter finish. Overall, very good. I would gladly drink this one again.

12 ounce bottle from Bottle Revolution in Raleigh. Pours entirely head. Foamy and tan which eventually reveals a clear amber beer. Aroma of caramel malts with floral and citrus hops. The taste is bitter citrus hops, toasted malts and nutty notes. Medium bodied.

Bottle. Clear orange amber, little to no head. Nose is lightly floral, honey, coconut. Flavor is dirty and bitter. Kind of hard to drink. Drinks heavier than 7%. Meh.
