Pours a dark yellow, clear. Nice white head that hangs on. Good Carbonation nice sweet hoppy aroma. Nice hop flavor that is upfront but not too bold. Mouth feel is very nice. Bittering in aftertaste is great. As the picture on the label aludes to, it is definitely a well balanced beer!

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 heemer77 (5016) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - MAY 23, 2013
Bottle. Deep gold blonde colored body with a slightly off white head. The nose has some rich toast, grapefruit and toast. There is a pleasant floral quality from the relatively restrained hops. This is fairly bitter in the mouth at first taste, but it becomes more fruity and doughy as more gets drank. There is some hint of wood and hay in the finish. A decent middle of the road IPA.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Foxbush (1005) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - APR 7, 2013
Draft at Burger Tavern 77 in Columbia, SC The IPA poured a clear light amber with a white head and lacing. There was a mild aroma of orange and light caramel malts. This was a mild IPA. very drinkable but not the expecteed bitterness of the hoppy ales. I like the 7% ABV for IPAs but needed more bitter hops. The ale had average carbonation. The finish had a medium mouthfeel of hops with good lacing.

Good English IPA. Not as malty as some English styles and not overly sweet. Worth another try.
