Bottle from Bruisin Ales. Pours black with a foamy dark tan head that bubbles quickly away. A burnt malt aroma that sort of suggests tobacco. Not necessarily sweet tobacco either. Very smooth. Med body. Flavor is sweet chocolate, anise, dark fruit, and some seriously burnt malt. Oscillates from sweet stout to really strong impy. Mostly impy tho. There’s a lot of flavor in this one. Very, very nice.

Bottled. Pitch black coloured. Dense light brown head. Aroma of roast chocolate, cocoa, light spice. Flavour of roast, chocolate, vanilla, liqourice, cocoa, Medium to full bodied. Ends on a roasted bitterness. Nice.

Draft. Almost black, brown head. Aroma of burnt coffee, bitter cocoa. Taste is bitter coffee grounds and chocolate. Nice.
