Bomber thanks to Brewdad. Pours a clear golden color with a thick white head that dissipates and leaves some lacing. A sweet nose of honey and some noble hops. Very smooth and tasty; sweet grains, honey, light bitter spicy hops, finishes bitter and dry. Super easygoing. Very good.

First off I’d like to say how surprising it is to find a locally bottled Kolsch not produced by Hale’s. Served in a thin 7 oz kolsch glass it pours a bright golden with brilliant highlights and a lasting thick white 1" head. Very lively and fizzy, effervescent. Pils malt dominates with a toasted crackerlike aroma, slight precursors to DMS, grassy and lightly floral hop notes, hay., A sweet pilsner malt flavor, toasty and clean, a smooth but bracing bitterness lingers, a slight buttery toast note but not diacetylitic. The taster is left with a firm bitter note that segways into a clean finish, tailing into a citrus note?. Very similar to many a german pils with more bitterness, quite lively on the palate. A very good showing for a very difficult style.

650ml bottle pours a straw in color with a small white head and some spotted lacing. Aroma is grainy malts with some grassy hops. Taste is grainy malt sweetness with a sharp grassy hop bitterness finishing clean. Light to medium body and some nice carbonation. This is quite a refreshing kolsch style brew which was quite enjoyable.

Light color. Light barley malt taste. Low abv and low in taste. Probably well within the style but is underwhelming.

Bomber. Straw golden colored with pillowy white head. Aroma is a mix of barley, citrus hops and honey malt notes. The flavor is predominately cereal malt, lemon citrus and grains along with a little bit of grassy hops in the background. The mouthfeel is medium-bodied with heavy carbonation and a clean, bitter finish with a slightly grainy aftertaste. Overall, a light and refreshing Kölsch that would go well with spicy food and BBQ.

Draft. Aroma and flavor: Like a German pilsner with a good hoppy bittering. Less bland than some of the German Kolsch’s I’ve had.

Clear pale lager color/ fleeting white head. Salty peppery, bready malt aromas. Light bodied with soft co2. Spicy salty flavors with dry white bread, nicely bitter finish--nice hot weather beer.

22 oz. bottle, pours clear straw yellow with a small white head. Aroma is quite funky, with corn, grass and hay - pretty weak. Flavour is quite piss watery, with straw, hay, corn - seems made with cheap adjuncts. Very bad.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours pale gold with a fizzy creamy white head. Aroma is a little bready with light citrus. Med body. Flavor is softly bready with some citrus like aspects. Perhaps a sturdier kolsch than most.

22oz Bomber – Odin Brewing – Seattle, WA
Golden color, hazy with a thin head. This was fresh I mean fresh of the bottling line. Tasty, fresh and cold. Mild hops and malt balance in the flavor and aroma. The light lingering ginger they added was just so subtle almost too faint. Made for a great brew. This finished dry and still tasty. Great Job Odin.
