COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This easily approachable IPA is light copper in colour and brewed with lightly kilned barley and rye malts. Numerous hop additions provide supple aromas of stone fruit and melon that finish with a crisp hop tang. While this beer is packed with flavour, it is light enough in body to be enjoyed with a wide range of dishes.

In Norse mythology, ‘Sigrun’ is a Valkyrie, representing a selection of strong and wise women tasked with deciding who lived and died in battle. On a more personal note, Sigrun (more affectionately known as ‘Runa’) is the grand matriarch of Odin Brewing. Her name is Old Norse and roughly translates to ‘Victory Rune’. Her namesake IPA pays homage to a strong and wonderful woman with a balanced and approachable character.

Bottle while visiting Seattle. Pours a hazy amber with a white head. Light trop fruit, bread aroma. Light to medium body, medium carbonation. Lemon, light pine, a little candy and a metallic, not particularly pleasant, finish. Not great.

Bottle pour. Big, creamy white head over clear yellow amber body. Aroma is light malt, spruce and citrus. Flavor is watery malt, grapefruit rind, spruce. Finish is bitter. Palate is good, fine bubbles, nicely carbonated for an IPA. This could be sessionable, except it’s a bit bland in the middle. The hops is good...it’s just a bit un-balanced.

Bottled at Flying Elk, Stockholm. Almost clear amber, small head. Caramel, bread and light grapefruit. Light-medium body, clean mouthfeel. Paper and caramel, some tea. Mid bitter finish.

This beer was an okay IPA. I love the concept and labeling of Odin beers, but haven't yet really enjoyed one of their brews.

Bottle. Pours a clear burnt orange cooper color with virtually no head, Nose is light to medium citrus with some light hoppiness. Taste is rather light with some bitterness but not bursting with any flavor. Finish is dry, a less than mediocre IPA at best. Quaff Score 5 / 10

Pours a clear orange with a white head and aroma of hops and citrus. Taste is bitter, hoppy, with citrus, caramel, and malt with a light, bitter finish. Nothing special

Hazy amber color with compact head. The aroma is strong, hoppy, fruity, earthy. The flavor is also strong, harsh, maybe too bitter, with some light butter feeling.
Fresh. Should be refined, but it’s not bad.

Hazy amber color with small creamy head. It has some caramel aroma and flavor; correct bitterness but limited hop qualities overall; unfortunately it also has a feeling of dirty water.
Not excited by this beer…

Bottle. Pours a crystal clear light amber color with a smallish white head on it. Nose smells like wet leaves, which I really hope was not the intention. Taste is a little spicy, with an black-pepper flavor in there. Not all that bitter, and not all that great.

Nice floral hop aroma. Taste is dry and bitter and sightly sweet and grapefruity. Very nice full body throughout.

Really unimpressive. I’ve had some solid beers from this label,so this came as a surprise. Bland, flat, boo, boo, boo.
