COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Savor it now or let rest - Equinox is a delight served young but robust enough to age well. Hints of rum, dates and figs are complimented by licorice phenolics. Locally made dark candi syrup helps keep a light body in big a beer worthy of rumination.

Dark brown with an ivory head. Roasted notes on the nose with some coffee. Complex palate showing toffee/caramel, roasted malts and some earthiness. Mouth coating and rich. Long finish.

This beer's pretty great. They have the "food in mind" slogan but there's no food in sight. Great hops/chocolate aromas, great effervescent bitterness and carbonation, rounded out with a great mealtiness. Somehow seems dry despite the booze an the buzz.

Tap @ Red Hot. Clear, dark amber pour with a short white head and moderate lace. Cocoa and brandy nose. Heavy body with moderate carbonation. Great flavors in this one: vanilla, chocolate, raisins, singed caramel, and salty licorice. Finish sees the umami emerge with roast vegetables, cheddar and leather matching the sweeter body flavors. IF youíre looking for something without the standard BSA flavors, itís worth a try. An unusally íchance umí ale from Odin which I enjoy very much.

Cloudy dark copper pour with limited carbonation. Taste is quad-light. Strongly sugar-oriented malt flavor, particularly molasses. Belgian yeast gives it some twang. Perhaps a tad too syrupy and "thick" -- a very heavy ale. B/B- ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On Tap at the new "Yard House" in Meridian, ID Deep dark brown with a huge tan head. Warm soft dark malty aromas and flavors with intersting belgian yeast notes mixed in. A belgian sweet stout? Rich and smooth palatte. Very nice

#10! Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours very, very dark amber with a slight beige head. Nose has a bit of everything - spice, dark malt, chocolate, cinnamon, maybe anise. It brings Mexican chocolate to mind. Med body. Flavor is dark malt, with contributions of dark fruit, chocolate, anise and spices. Still think thereís cinnamon. Itís complex and interesting. Finishes on the dry side.

I really enjoyed this one... Lots of Belgian spice and sugar with deeper flavors and maltiness. As it warmed the flavors of fig and raisin really showed through, but it also approached cloying sweetness. I'd like to investigate some food pairings with Odin's beer as their slogan suggests... Next stop, Odin Brewery!

Brownish in color, clear with a thin tan head. Big malt and hops aroma with a light fruit lingering. Strong malt and floral flavors. This was strong dark Belgian ale. 10% in alcohol this can and will sneak on you. Very tasty dry finished brew The yeast flavor is not over powering I really liked this brew.
