3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Light wheat aroma, more what youíd expect from a wit than a tripel, but hey weíll go with it. Golden colour with a hint of haziness. Clean, and lightly hoppy with a slightly bitter finish. While rather nice I think the Washington State addiction for hops may have caused them to veer too far from the style they were going for.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours hazy blond with a finger white head.
Smell huge banana, clove, belgian yeast.
Taste smooth belgian candi sugar, bit of booze, lots of clove.
Med body, easy drinking.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle:   Golden hued straw, light haze, moderate to large frothy white head, nice lacing.   Soft bready nose, light melon and fruitiness.   Similar on the tongue, very light for a Tripel.   Very pale breadiness, a little yeasty, some melon.   Not as fruity as the nose suggested.   Average body and mouthfeel.   Pale breadiness lingers.   A little ashy on the finish.   Softer example than most.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: SEP 8, 2013 On tap at St Augustineís on The Drive in Vancouver. A pale amber with a maximum liquid pour in their standard sleeve, so not much head or nose. Havenít sampled tripels in awhile, so my buds may be off kilter, but initial impressions are so so.
Meh. Drinkable, but unexciting. Left the last third in the glass and moved on.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
An average tripel, lacking the smooth, velvety texture and fluffy head of the Belgian varieties. Lagerish hop character, slightly hazy gold color. Hop bite detracts from should be some smooth, spiciness.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sample at the Tap House Grill in Seattle. This brew pours a clear pale golden color with a medium thin white head that diminishes steadily to a film. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of yeast and fruit. Medium-bodied with flavors of earthy yeast, malt and subtle bananas. The finish is fruity with an herbal yeast aftertaste. Decent overall.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Got this from the COOP a week or so ago.. I think I paid about $8ish.. Pours clear dark straw golden... white head rises and dies back almost as quickly.. only okay spotty lacing for the glass.
Nose is decent for an "American Belgian Triple"... husky pale malts are the big player with some lite apricot and pronounced clovey/peppery phenols.. With warmth the spicy notes really light up and go to the front.
Flavor is not as integrated... okay balance between the spicy phenols and fruity notes... should have some citrus esters, instead a bit of apricot... with warmth, the spiciness really dominates... too much... Definitely "American" but is still okay... Dial in the yeasty components and I believe this could be a winner... With warmth the EtOH really blooms... drink it colder for the time being.
Medium/lite body could be a bit lighter with a more refined bubble... the carbonation is good but has a bit of a bite to it that shouldnít be there.
Overall, I love a good tripel, and this hits the mark but need some refinement... it is pretty harsh right now... Dial it down and see where the things land.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours translucent gold with a slight white head. Aroma is fruit ester and a bit of spice. Think banana is in it. Med body. Flavor is decently hoppy with banana ester. Itís very tasty, and I think the brewers nailed the style.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bomber. Appearance is a clear light golden color with a cap of off-white foam. Aroma of Belgian yeast, lemon and malt sweetness. The flavor is a mix of honey, clove and brown sugar along with some herbal hops and toasted grains. The body is mildly creamy with medium carbonation and a sweet, medicinal finish. Could use a bit more complexity and carbonation.
