hazy golden color with rising bubbles and lasting ivory froth. Nice tart pale wheat, lemongrass, dry spice, bready aromas. Light to medium bodied. Light fruity flavors with tart prickly lemon, dry spices, dusty pale malt, wheat bread--tasty and on the tart side-good

Bottle @ Scott’s Summer Saison tasting. Thanks so much Scott! A bit hazy, light yellow appearance with a fluffy white head. Clean frefreshing, lightly spicy, lemon citrusy aroma. Delicious orange citrus fruity, acidic carbonation, somewhat spicy flavor. Quite nice.

kinda flat for me. Some mild yeast character that you could maybe convince me was peppery. Not a bad drinker but kind of ’meh’ for me

Shared by someone at the Monte’s Krown tasting yesterday. People were tell me that this beer was going to blow the guava grove that we just tasted away, but this wasn’t the case for me. Pours a cloudy, hazy straw with a white head. Nice, dry finish with a touch of spice. Clove heavy. A decent example of the style, but not as good as guava grove at all. Not even close.

A - Pours a clear golden-orange color with a finger of frothy white head atop. The head fades down at a normal pace leaving behind some light lace. S - Aroma is a mix of wheat, Belgian yeast, bubblegum, banana, clove, a hint of pepper, and some farmhouse smells. T - Starts off with some wheat, lemongrass, some Belgian yeast esters, and a bit of lemon. Through the middle, some banana, clove, and other light spices come through with some stronger yeast flavor. The finish is a mix of banana, Belgian yeasts, spices, and a bit of bubblegum. M - Medium bodied with moderate lively carbonation. Feels smooth with a dry estery finish. D - Very drinkable. Nice balanced and smooth Saison. I could really drink a whole lot of this one.

Cracked open last year in celebration of the Dallas Mavericks winning the NBA title. The beer pours a hazy straw-yellow color with a white head. The aroma has a lot of wheat and spices in it, as well as some orange and lemon notes. I also get a little bit of light tartness. The flavor is different and quite complex. I get some wheat and lemon notes, as well as some white pepper, banana and clove notes. High carbonation and medium mouthfeel.

Bottle. Clear light yellow pour, lasting lacing and a light lemon/hay aroma. Flavor is light lemon, very effervescent, a little bit of flowers and herbs. Love this stuff, tasty.

Bomber. Poured cloudy, paler golden with a towering cap of sticky white head. The aroma picked up meaty bread and a pinch of honey surrounded by floral notes, peppery spices, and a little citrus zest.. nice, but maybe too aggressive. The flavor found the same meaty bread and honey plus some peach and apricot skins surrounded by white pepper, cloves, and tangy wheat.. more sour and spicy on the strong finish. Medium-bodied, with very filling carbonation on the palate.. nice spicy notes, but everything seemed overdone, and it was not refreshing.
