tronraner (1906), Maryville, Tennessee, USA Feb 5, 2006 Bottle. Pours apple juice color with almost no head. The aroma is pretty faint, but at least isn’t offensive... mostly typical lager clean malt smell. Unfortunately, the aroma is the best part. The flavor has a touch of malt, but is mostly apple cores and plastic. The finish is a bit sour and cardboardy. The palate is extremely watery, and at the same time prickly. This doesn’t even have alcohol. Blech. hayduke (1621), Eureka, California, USA Jan 29, 2006 12 oz bottle/ Light amber with fuzzy off-white head. Strong carbonation. Corn taste but with carmel added. Actually much better tasting than regular O’Douls. Braudog (3733), Dayton, Ohio, USA Jan 29, 2006 One of 19 non-alcoholic brews I tried during a 4-month deployment in Kuwait, because that’s all I could get. Tried on several dates, both can and bottle: This actually has a nice reddish amber with a thin tan head. Sweet malty aroma. A bit of a sweet essence and that "canned beer" mouthfeel. One of the better choices for NAs. CapFlu (3480), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada Jan 5, 2006 (Bottle) End aisle of a Saskatchewan Co-op Store. Pours a medium, non-dissipating, frothy, white head and a mildly amber body. The nose was grainy and perhaps contained some maltiness. It tasted liked fizzy water. Wow, only 106 reviews of this beer... its relatively rare; anyone want to trade? JohnnyOS (646), Golden, Wisconsin, USA Jan 2, 2006 Better than standard O’Douls and better than the other N/As. But still...
Pours an amber color with long lasting head - Corn aroma with some minor hoppiness. Flavor is more or less carbonated water with some lingering hops and a bit of bitterness. oldrtybastrd (1801), Morlautern, Germany/Great Falls, Montana, USA Dec 28, 2005 Pours darker than most N/A’s on the market. Aromas of vegtables, corn, and some minor hopping. Flavor is bitter and kind of smooth at the finish. One of the better N/As on the market. morrdt (608), Jacksonville, Florida, USA Dec 23, 2005 Updated: Jul 7, 2007This is the holy grail of non-alcoholic beers. This is as good as it gets. What beer drinkers drink when they are stuck as designated driver. Bockyhorsey (2487), Mesa, Arizona, USA Dec 21, 2005 This was poured from a bottle but had the aroma of an aluminum can. At least it had a good amber body and decent head on pour. Metalic and aluminum flavor just doesn’t make a good beer for me. Uck....
