Braudog (4473) - Hampton, Virginia, USA - JAN 29, 2006
One of 19 non-alcoholic brews I tried during a 4-month deployment in Kuwait, because that’s all I could get. Tried on several dates, both can and bottle: This actually has a nice reddish amber with a thin tan head. Sweet malty aroma. A bit of a sweet essence and that "canned beer" mouthfeel. One of the better choices for NAs.

CapFlu (3767) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 5, 2006
(Bottle) End aisle of a Saskatchewan Co-op Store. Pours a medium, non-dissipating, frothy, white head and a mildly amber body. The nose was grainy and perhaps contained some maltiness. It tasted liked fizzy water. Wow, only 106 reviews of this beer... its relatively rare; anyone want to trade?

JohnnyOS (646) - Golden, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 2, 2006
Better than standard O’Douls and better than the other N/As. But still... Pours an amber color with long lasting head - Corn aroma with some minor hoppiness. Flavor is more or less carbonated water with some lingering hops and a bit of bitterness.

oldrtybastrd (3228) - Doha, Qatar/Great Falls, Montana, USA - DEC 28, 2005
Pours darker than most N/A’s on the market. Aromas of vegtables, corn, and some minor hopping. Flavor is bitter and kind of smooth at the finish. One of the better N/As on the market.

UPDATED: JUL 7, 2007 This is the holy grail of non-alcoholic beers. This is as good as it gets. What beer drinkers drink when they are stuck as designated driver.

This was poured from a bottle but had the aroma of an aluminum can. At least it had a good amber body and decent head on pour. Metalic and aluminum flavor just doesn’t make a good beer for me. Uck....

UPDATED: MAY 27, 2008 This is about as good as it gets for NA. It’s hard to tell that it’s not just a really good lager. Maybe even better than some AB lagers. The aroma is a little corn like but mostly toasted malt. The appearance is better than most. It is amber (of course) with a better than average NA beer head. The flavor is good. It is sweet caramel with toasted malt and a tiny bit of bitterness. Palate is much better than most NA’s. Finish is sweet. This is a good but cheap beer.

12 oz. bottle. I much prefer the amber version to the regular product. Pours a clear amber color with a white head. Light aroma from caramel. Caramel also comes through in the flavor. In the NA group, this is one of my favorites.
