| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Aug 23, 2003 This brew wannabe poured a small head of quickly disappearing finely sized bubbles that left behind a uncarbonated orange brown colored body and a fair lacing. Its aroma is one of a mild malt hop variety and it moutyhfeel is thin and very bubbly. The flavor is also thin and lacking any real content with a little hop noted if anything. Mostly colored water here. Libeerian (209), Garner, North Carolina, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 8/20 | Aug 20, 2003 Surprisingly malty aroma from this clear amber brew. The body's thin as expected but the caramel malt flavor is not unpleasant. The finish is fast and dry. Actually, one of the best NA's I've tried. MadMan (497), Tempe, Arizona, USA
| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Jul 28, 2003 This is so much better than the other LA beers I have sampled. I don't attend the strip club's anymore so the need to drink this stuff is gone, but I happened on one recently and found it surprisingly pleasant for a LA. Still don't find a need to drink it unless I'm looking at naked women. Shag (1923), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA
| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 3/20 | Jun 24, 2003 I was a little surprised to see this beer rated so high. Smells awful, tastes watery yet awful. N/A! I will say it does look rather nice! For taking your kids, your dog, or your pregnant wife out for a night of drinking. But why go out DRINKING with them? It just doesnt fit kind of like this beer! Slick (1962), Thief River Falls, Minnesota, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jun 23, 2003 Nice amber red color, small head with only a faint attempt to last.Nice malty aroma with the taste being malty ,mildly sweet with a mild hoppiness and slight corniness as well.mostly this isn't that bad and IMOpretty decent i still can't give up my alcohol but if i did i think this is where i would go for a good all around beer taste with out the hassle of a buzz. | 1.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | May 20, 2003 Updated: Jun 3, 2005Head is initially small, fizzy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is clear medium amber. Aroma is lightly malty (cereal, caramel), trace hops (herbs). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly bitter, slightly unclean. Light to medium body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. Amber colored NAs always smell like cereal or dog food, and this is no exception. Disturbing. PorterPounder (3137), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/20 | May 4, 2003 Lifeless pour, head disappeared in a microsecond. Aroma - akin to a dirty dish rag No real amber quality to this at all - looked more like dark apple juice. Bit of a malty - caramel flavor to it - but it sure does miss the alcohol - similar to fat free food - fat = taste just as much as alcohol = taste. Thirst-quenching though on a hot day - so it is good for something. celogan (190), Oroville, California, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Apr 27, 2003 For a domestic NA, this isn't too bad. Better than all the other domstic crap that is out there. Eons ahead of any other American NA Swill.
NA's do have a purpose, such as working in the yard, or after having so many good beers, you can't afford to be falling down drunk, so you need something that at least comes close to tasting like beer.
So for an American version of NA, this is the one to get. At least it has some real beer flavor, though a tad watery and in need of more a bit more hops and carbonation.
