Slacks (355), Bolton, Ontario, Canada Mar 16, 2008 Sampler Glass: I’ll never turn down a rating, especially when it’s offered in the midst of my grocery shopping! Haha. So she’s brown in colour, quite carbonated, moderate white head. Roasty malty nose, elements of wet grass and cardboard. Flavour is watery but offering decent roasted malt sweetness. Obviously nowhere near the best, but I have to admit it rated higher than I thought it would. I’d actually likely pick this over (Name Brand Here) macro pale lager if given the choice!
waolsen (962), Littleton, Colorado, USA Aug 15, 2008 they handed this out after a race I ran. It was poured from a can into a plastic cup. I then proceeded to pour it into my mouth. That experiment lasted one sip. It ended up poured in a field. It is hard to describe but I feel that this is what you must drink while you burn in hell for eternity. I’m going to start going to church. BlackDonald (1040), North Carolina, USA Aug 9, 2008 Same crappy beer with a little bit of caramel coloring added. I would just have to go without if ths was all I had to drink. Bradrcr (606), Renton, Washington, USA Jul 1, 2008 7/1/08 From the bottle. Aroma is sweet/roast caramel lamt forward with a decent noble hop balance. Appearance is clear copper with a surprisingly well maintained white head. Flavor is extremely light, missing the aroma’s sweetness, and having only moderate noble hop bittering. Mouthfeel is low bodied with a low carb texture. Overall, this was better than expected for an NA, it’s just too bad it looks so good. Such trickery! subcell (95), Portsmouth, Virginia, USA Jun 30, 2008 I cannot drink this stuff but it is excellent to cook with. It compliments beef and does not give your food a bitter hop taste like the regular Odouls and does not give you food a burnt taste like some stouts do and it’s cheap.
