bottle - Why, oh, why did I drink this beer today? Sure it was free, it was hot outside, and the "beer" was cold, but that’s not a good enough excuse to consume this crap. I had truly managed to avoid ever having a bottle of NA beer and with good reason. Bleh. It has all the grainy notes, thin body, and pathetic lack of taste of a macro pale lager, and virtually none of the alcohol. There’s no point. Have some lemonade or something if you’re thirsty.

This beer just plain sucks. It’s bitter and absolutely undrinkable if it’s any warmer than ice cold. Don’t waste you money. Coors NA is much better if you can find it.

To be fair, one has to rate these low-alcohol beers compared to their peers, otherwise they wouls all get 0.5 as a rating. This one smells like a beer at least-- faintly hoppy, but a little applejuicy as well. Thin thin thin in the mouth, with little flavour. It is what it is.

drank out of the bottle, assuming a golden color with white head. not real nose to detect. sweet malty crunch, not as offensive as one would think.

Yes, that’s right... this here "near-beer" is approaching four years old! Born on 26 JUL 02. I was not going to rate this particular bottle, but A.) it came my way for free and, B.) regardless of how I rate it, I can’t do too much damage to a beer in the Zero percentile.

Pours golden yellow with a boatload of carbonation that fails to support its fleeting, white head. I barely find a sweetly malted aroma with a touch of DMS, and there’s very little skunkiness (to my surprise) from such an old, green bottle. Light cardboard in flavor with another hint of sweetness. Has a fizzy mouthfeel and the finish leaves me gassy and unimpressed. In all honesty, it’s not as bad as I thought it would be. I guess it must age well...

Bottle. Needed to drive and finish a discussion with a freind, so here is what you get. Little character to present. Three prime characteristics. Wet, cold and worst of all: low alcohol. Next time I will order a soda.
