Initial wafts of skunk give way to a grainy, sweet malt aroma. Light body. Flavour is clean & sweet but very bland. Overall, though, not bad for a non-alcoholic brew. This was offered to me "just to see if you like beer." I didn’t like this, which turned out to be the beginning of my love affair with real bear. RAYBOY01 (1828), Chicago, Illinois, USA

| 1.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Jan 21, 2005 Very fizzy pale straw-yellow body that coated the inside of my glass with a dense layer of carbonation and a loose soapy white head that pulled apart quickly. Aroma of lightly buttered rice, mild skunky hops, pale malt, and raw grain. Very bland flavor with dry burlap elements. Light bitterness like an artificial sweetener. Thinnest body ever, equivalent to sparkling water. I could never forget that this is make-believe beer. But it is refreshing and not particularly offensive when consumed during a hiatus from beer-drinking due to a sore throat. cazort (413), Newark, Delaware, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jan 12, 2005 Updated: Apr 10, 2007(bottle) Very skunky. Has some body, and some malt flavour, although a corn flavour is dominant. Too sweet; corn-syrup taste. Funkiness to the malt sometimes surfaces, like a macro-brew but not quite as bad as coors. There are better NA beers that are cheaper than this one. There is a tang of bitterness--I can taste some hops, which is a huge plus. Although this one isn’t great, it’s better than many alcoholic macrobrews. pjk33 (384), Sligo - Curllsville Heights, Pennsylvania, USA
| 0.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/10 | 2/5 | 2/20 | Jan 11, 2005 Bottle, Draught. I drank this once when I had to. Just once. That’s all that it took. I was working for a radio station and it was part of the promotion at the Pittsburgh Regatta. Terrible, and funky tasting. Metallic and also an odd twang that really made it taste weird. No sense in drinking anything that tastes this bad. Waste of time. Drink water. AdamSkillin (376), High Bridge, New Jersey, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 8, 2005 I’ve had much better fake beers. I’ve also had much worse fake beers. If you’re really hurting to drink a beer, but you can’t have one for any reason, this will pretty much give you that "drinking a beer feeling" albeit without much taste to back it up. Go for O’Doul’s Amber instead. Or Clausthaler or Haake Beck, the best in class of fake beers.
