(Bottle, De Spuyt, Amsterdam, 1 March 2014) Yellow colour, slightly hazy, with lasting frothy white head. Malty, spicy nose with notes of grass, bready malt, coriander and spicy hops. Malty, spicy taste with lemon, grapefruit, bready malt, grass and a generous earthy bitterness in a fairly dry finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and quite spicy. Nice one.

Thx! 33 cl. bottle sampled @ Gollem. Stupid name that leads to silly jokes when ordering at a bar. Pours a hazy orange with a small but very solid white head. Nose is sweet juicy exotic fruits, passion fruit, mango, sweet lemon, white pepper, nicely hoppy, fruity yeast,… Tastes of sweet lemons, lemongrass, lots of juicy mandarins, oranges, mangos, passion fruit, very juicy, mellow hops, white pepper,… Very easy to drink, lovely stuff. (Version brewed @ De Molen).

Draft. Pours a slightly hazy yellow with medium head. Aroma is citrus and floral. Taste is lemongrass spicy with a bitter aftertaste. No body, so the beer was a little bit bland. Ok.

Bottle shared at Herr Schmitt’s gaff. From cotteridge wines. Aroma is saison yeast, rubber, orange peel, cirriander. Flavour is pale malt, biscuit, orange zest, herbal notes. Well balanced. Low body. Grainy mouth feel. Solid stuff.

Bottle shared at Garbage Night II - London. Big thanks to Fergus for this one. Pours clear gold with a creamy, white foam head. The nose is fairly herbal with notes of thyme and rosemary, along with dry dough and Belgian yeast. Medium sweet flavor with pronounced herbal character, balancing pale bread, some wheat, light hay. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Moderate sweetness to finish, some pale and doughy bread, plenty more herbs, light yeast, hay. Pretty tasty stuff. Nicely balanced.

Bottle thanks to Fergus. It pours clear golden amber with a medium, bubbly white head. The nose is hay, earth, spice, faint smoke and soft fruits. The taste is orange, mandarin, doughy, sherbet, faint tartness, toasty, candied fruit, spice and hay with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Pretty alright stuff.
