On tap @ Beer Temple (still the first batch brewed @ De Molen). Barman/Oedipus brewer Sander told me it was brewed with Sorachi Ace hops, lemongrass, szechuan pepper and other spices. Murky red-brown color. Uneven off-white head. Aroma’s: spices and herbs, anise, caramel, lightly acidic, medium bitter. Flavor is herbal spicy, lightly acidic, medium bitter. Body is medium. Finishes herbal spicy, dry, bitter. Some moderation on the spice side would be good.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear yellowish golden with a small white head and an aroma of sweet malts, floral hops, honey, sweet citrus, spices and yeast. The taste is medium to heavily sweet with a short- to mediumlasting bitter finish with some slight peppery notes. Nice and pretty original.

Clear golden with orange hue and medium sized slight bubbly white head. Nice dry grain character, slight sour citrus, spices, dry bitterness in a raw-vegetable kind of way. Medium to light bodied with dry feel and full carbonation. I hardly get the peppers in this, but veru decent saison.

Hazy ale, white head. Nicely aroma-hopped nose and taste, big on yeasts and malts/wheat, spicy and in fact indeed a little hot. Big flavours: acidic, creamy and a tat bitter. Mouthfeel and body have a good bite to it, lively carbonated. A very nice saison.

Bottle from Ton Overmars. Pours gold with a thin white head. Aromas of Belgian yeast, citrusy fruits, grass. Flavor is mild, with some lemon, hops, yeast, and not so much carbonation. Hints of pepper. Aroma more interesting than taste. Not bad.

Aroma of ripe orange, mandarin, tropical fruits, spicy yeast, peppery, aromatic hops. Flavour is moderate fruity sweetness, with some nice hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste. Very enjoyable.

On tap @ De Spuyt. Slightly hazy amber/golden with a huge creamy off-white head and heavy lacing. Aroma is peppery and grassy along cereals and light fruitiness. Taste is also peppery and slightly sweet with caramel, light fruity notes and light bitterness hidden by a lingering peppery finish. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Spicy finishish. Decent peppery Saison, but a tad too heavy and spicy.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Slightly hazy golden coloured brew with fine dry bitter taste. Hints of lemon, manderin and a little bit of pepper. Like this one with its crazy label.

33 cL bottle at home. Bottled on 16-8-’13, so not very fresh. Pours hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma has bay leaves, spices, some citrus and yeast. Taste has spices, some herbal bitterness, a bit of pepper and yeast. Medium body and soft to medium carbo. Finish is quite dry. Ok, but I have to try this more fresh.
