2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
750mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown / black with a humungous beige head. Aroma brings out loads of brett, roasted malt and a considerable hop profile. Flavour is similar, with moderate brett, some roasted malt, a touch of coffee and semi-harsh hops. Ridiculously high carbonation, which destroys some of the complexity. I donít know what the fuck this is supposed to be. Itís decent, but the carbonation is way too high, making this not very drinkable. Okay.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Corked bottle. Very loud pop. Lots of head. Pours a dark brown beer with a good tan head. Lots of aromas. Dark chocolate, bit sour and coffee is what I recognise. Nice bitter taste. Dark chocolate and fruits. Lots of taste for a 5% beer. Good lively carbo. Thin to medium body and a dry texture. Good beer.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle: Served in a Chouffe glass:
A thick loud plop when opening the bottle and a foamy snake...
An exploding airy and lively dark beige to brown ish foamy head that luckily changes quick into a smaller head because than we can pour more beer again, with another exploding head that immediately rises up again.
A murky dark brown colored beer.
Aromas of brett, toast, liqurice wood, light malt roast, hay.
Flavours of toast, some smooth but light coffee tones with a sprinkle of chocolate, wild yeast, bitter, herbal toast, bitter, light vinous, dark fruits like raisin and prunes and some light hints of red fuit like cherries and berries (just a sprinkle) and a hint of something wood chalky.
Aftertaste of toast, grass, malt toast, floral, bitter and some darkened grapefruits.
Medium carbo, very blown mouthfeel which disappears with a roll through the mouth and makes it a lot of a watery mouthfeel, good medium to lightly lightly fuller body and a texture between foamy and watery.
Pity of the carbo, if they would have been able to balance it more this would be another 4+ beer. Now itís just 4. Cheers
