2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draft at Holy Grale.
Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly lasting.
Body is medium to dark yellow.
Aroma is lightly malty (caramel, toasted grain), moderately hoppy (apricot, grapefruit, resin), lightly to moderately yeasty (cheese, mold), with notes of candy sugar, pear syrup, bubble gum, banana, dried pineapple, plastic.
Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter.
Medium body, syrupy texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic.
Weird beer...the aroma is a mish-mash of tropical fruit syrup and hops and gum, kinda artificial...some "bad" plastic too, and I’m not a fan of the yeast character either. Syrupy sweet in the mouth, not what you want in an IPA. Points for being different, but I couldn’t handle more than 3oz or so before pushing it aside.

On tap at the Pine Box, pours a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is messed up, with BO, earthy brett and feet. Flavour is around the same, with lots of weird feet-like and BO notes from the brett. Not good - low complexity and off-notes.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Thick dark honey amber color. Strong head that last, thick ass lacing. Aroma is is slightly goats oil, slightly rancid hops due to the Brett, rancid fruit. Flavor is similar. I’m bored writing stuff. I’ll stop rating now.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap at Belmont Station, PDX, the other night. Crazy they even had this on tap! Decent Brett IPA, all the flavors are there, it just wasn’t really all that loud. Nice light funk though.

4oz on tap at Ei8ht Ball. Hazy orange color. Thin off-white ring of head, couple bits of lace. Great tangy zesty citrusy tangerine orange aroma. Mild grapefruit. Medium body. Smooth, kind of crisp, lighter carbonation. Light slick. Light tart taste, moderate sweet, light bitterness, good zest. Really nice citrusy brett IPA / hoppy farmhouse.

Appearance: Medium sized stable white head on top of a opaque yellowish orange with floating yeast in all the glasses.
Aroma: apricots, funk, citrus.
Taste: first sip is great, with light funk, bread and a nice citrus bitterness, but further down the glass there it becomes quite flat and one dimensional with oly a light fruity, bread with some bitterness.
medium body, average carbonation.

Alla spina all’IBF. La parte del brett domina rispetto alla parte IPA che risulta appena percettibile con finale luppolato. Birra di cui non si sentina necessitŕ

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap @ Beachwood Brewing. Pour is hazed golden yellow with white foam. Nose is sort of yeasty and grassy. Maybe a bit peppery? Candied lemon and some orange zest are also there. Fair amount of stone fruit, too. Lots of lemon. Some caramel, grass, and yeast. A light bitterness, very dry and peppery on the finish.
