COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

750ml bottle shared. Appearance: Medium sized stable white head on top of a opaque yellowish orange with floating yeast in all the glasses. Aroma: apricots, funk, citrus. Taste: first sip is great, with light funk, bread and a nice citrus bitterness, but further down the glass there it becomes quite flat and one dimensional with oly a light fruity, bread with some bitterness. medium body, average carbonation. Quite undelivering.

Alla spina all’IBF. La parte del brett domina rispetto alla parte IPA che risulta appena percettibile con finale luppolato. Birra di cui non si sentina necessità

On tap @ Beachwood Brewing. Pour is hazed golden yellow with white foam. Nose is sort of yeasty and grassy. Maybe a bit peppery? Candied lemon and some orange zest are also there. Fair amount of stone fruit, too. Lots of lemon. Some caramel, grass, and yeast. A light bitterness, very dry and peppery on the finish.

Draft at Monks, courtesy of Jodie. Pours a bright hazy golden body with white lacing. Aroma is super grassy with light spice. Mouthfeel is dry and grassy. The term "funky Brett IPA" does not apply here and is pretty misleading. If you want a dry, grassy ale this may be your jam.

750 ml bottle from De Bierkoning, Amsterdam Netherlands. Golden yellow color, hazy, with a thich white head. Aromas of citrus, lemon, hay. Taste is lemon and orange with a funky character, something like a horse-saddle. Dry mouthfeel. Light body with medium carbonation.

Keg at Mother Kelly’s Dutch Weekender. It pours a hazy yellow color with a large white soapy head. Aroma is funky, lightly sweet with fruity hops. Notes of apricots and violets. Taste is fruity sweet upfront, then more yeasty, funky with notes of band-aid and dust. More fresh ripe apricots and light grassy hops. Finishes quite dry and bitter. Body is medium with good carbonation. Overall, a delight of a beer.

4oz pour at Churchkey’s Night of the Living Ales 2014. Pours a murky orange with loads of lacing, sudsy white head. Nose is nice, pithy, soapy, herbal, lemon, lime, a little straw. Flavor is cool, straw, grass, lime, lemon, mild perfume, mild hop, a little vegetal. Chalky finish.
