3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pretty much black bodied, with a tan and bubbly head. Dark malts, nutty, milk chocolate. Not much cherry, but that’s okay. Light body but quite a bit of flavour. (75cl bottle)

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Jet black colour, tan head. Aroma of wood, dark cherries, roasted malts, quite fruity and oak. Bitter flavour, roasted malts, very dry, wood, oak, light ash, creamy mouthfeel. Dry finish, roasted malts, light cherry, light dry cocoa powder. Lingering wood.
Nice beer from a brewery that isn’t shunning some experimentation.
