3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Martinus (1795) - Nijmegen, NETHERLANDS - APR 9, 2013
Slightly hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of brett, funk, citrus, candy, warm saison notes and yeast. Bitter flavour, hops, light funk, very light sour note. Malty finish with lingering bitter hops.
Lovely beer, but my guess is it should either be drunk fresh, when the hops are more pronounced, or left to age a bit more for the brett to develop even better.
(From 75cL bottle shared @ WW II tasting, Amsterdam)

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Borresteijn (3651) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - APR 6, 2013
75cl Bottle at WWT II. Hazy deep golden colour, white head. Aroma is Bretty funk, citrus, some tropical fruits, floral malts. Flavour is dry, citrus, Brett, light tart, fruity, firm hoppy bitter finish, light soapy. A bit too thin for the bitterness, but nice nevertheless.

Sampled from bottle @ ZZT II thanks to Martinus. Hazy light to medium orange color, small white head. Aroma and taste are both clearly saison, funk, a sourish hint, fruitpeel. Medium body and carbonation. Hmm ok beer, but not really my style.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20 erickok (2295) - Tours, FRANCE - DEC 10, 2012
Very misty orange with small bubbly head. A very clear brett character, quite dry and peppery with fermented fruit. Some peach character coming through already. Nice farmhouse funk, much more than your usual saison or, dare I say it, Orval. Taste suddenly reveal fresh hops, which are backed up by a good amount of funk. Spices, drinkable and fairly bitter. I truly hope these guys get a big brewing installation some time so anybody can enjoy these. Another stunner. (75cl bottle, many, many thanks to my Secret Sinterklaas!)
