Brewed according to the Solera principle.

UPDATED: JAN 31, 2013 Clear brown, small off-white head. Mild sour aroma with cherries and some farm. Taste is again cherries, a mild sourness and some hints of wood. A very soft and easy drinkable "Vlaamse Rode", well balanced. Nice body and carbonation, dry (aftertaste) Great beer. 37,5cl bottle from the brewer (thanks!)

(Oersoep Wild at Heart (Mild Sour - Foudre 2)) Bottle 750 ml at home, corked and caged, served into a big tulip, ABV 6.5% Brown coloured body, murky, with a small beige head on top, thin and with low retention. Aroma has caramel, toffee, apples, grapes. Taste also of caramel, grapes, wood, tanines, toffee, only mildly sor, it’s in the name after all. Medium thin body with good carbonation. Good.

(Oersoep Wild at Heart (God is Goed)) At Oersoep Craft Beer Festival. Murky brown colour on the body, no head. Aroma of apples and vinegar. Taste is sour, like a white wine gone bad. Thin body with low carbonation. Not that good, I got recently a bottle of this so I will rerate soon.

THANKS for sharing RB people! Sampled draft @ outside De Bierkoning during Carnivale Brettanomyces 2016! Dark red amber, small off-white head. Nose is dull iron, malt, sugar, soap, low red fruit. Taste is sweet metallic red fruit, too malty, rather sweet, iron. Thinner malt body. Not if or how this one differs from the regular one but I like this iteration a lot less, little oak character, little red wine character & far too metallic.
Earlier Rating: 6/29/2015 Total Score: 3.8
Thanks. Sampled draft @ outside of De Bierkoning during Carnivale Brettanomyces #4. Murky brown, tanned head. Nose is puckering red fruit nose, brett, caramel, thick juicy lightly puckering malt, plenty of oak… Taste is mellow lactic, red fruit sour malt, brett, light red fruits, light cherries, sour oak,… Malty & red cherry body. Not bad.

Draft @ Kompaan. Pours a hazy orange beer with a small, quick diminishing white head on top. Aroma is very oaky with touches of light Brett. Flavour is medium tart and sour, some light caramel flavours appear on the background after swallowing. Low carbonation. Decent cleanser, nice sourness.
