3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Can bought in Peguera Spain. Lightly hazy blonde with a thick resilient creamy white head. Light sweet malt and banans in aroma, with light berries. Fresh wheat with light bananas. Lighter bodied, must be great on the beach.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
A pretty basic hefe, not bad, one of oettingers better beers. Taste was pretty good, but a bit bland I would have liked a stronger flavor. I would drink it again though.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pronounced yeasty flavour. Peculiar not-quite-fruity aroma. Decent, but not excellent.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Tart banana/apricot aroma. Cloudy yellow-tan color with moderate head. Tart malt and banana flavor with a hint of orange. High carbonation. A lower percentile Hefe.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Cloudy orange colour. Big, lacey, slighty bubbly head. Not much aroma, some yeast, but rather weak. Normal hefeweizen taste, but also a bit weak and boring. But as not as bad as most ratings suggest. Maybe they improved this? I could not find anything that was really unpleasurable, like in other Öttinger beers.

1.1 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottle. God this beer sucks. Hazy and Orange colored.
You know this beer is bad from the beginning because once
the cap has been removed from the bottle, a nasty smell of
rotten eggs pervades the room (I suggest you only drink this
one outside). The flavor is a slight improvement from the aroma.
It does indeed seem to be a hefeweizen. It still tastes bad.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
50 cl. bottle. Served in Erdinger glass.
Cloudy apple-sauce color. Rather uninspired and boring weissbier. Refreshing, though.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Tall head, muddy yellow body. Aroma of oranges and yeast. Very sour citrus flavor (too much) and really nothing more. Nasty mouldy aftertaste!

1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
UPDATED: MAR 23, 2004 Mediocre wheat beer aroma. Tinny with funky citrus off-flavor & musky. Nice foamy white lacing head over cloudy orange-amber liquid. Watery body with medium low carb. Bad taste. Watery and sweet-lemon tangy. Light wheat but metallic sourness. Not very good and I would not have again.
