Can (BB 10/2008)
Can was bought from supermercado in Santa Elena, Costa Rica. Hazy deep orange color, big cloudy head. Strange mix of fruits, bubblegum and cardboard in the nose. Medium-bodied. Bubblegum, yeast, tropical fruits and yesterday’s news in the flavor. Not really the most pleasant and refrshing weissbier - very industrial.

Bottle, purchased from the station shop at Venlo from memory, consumed on the 16.30 train (which I nearly missed taking a piss behind a fence) from Veisen to Bochum, 27/04/13. And that probably covers the most interesting aspects of this beer ! Hazed orange/amber with a big frothy off white head. Nose is grass, orange, pale malt, light spice, faint hop notes. Taste comprises toffee, banana, spice, herbal notes, corriander. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dryish finish. Ok in that it was driknable but came across as a mass produced effort with little care and attention.

0.5 can. Very cloudy, rich gold color, big and dense white head on top. Typical Weißbier aroma, hops, wheat, some citrus and vanilla. Sweet taste, wheat and hay predominate, simple and common but concrete and crisp. Medium body, slick texture and below-average carbonation. Finish is medium in length, hay flavors dominate, quite simple and uneventful. Overall the beer is unsophisticated and down-to-earth but at the same time simply tasty.

hazy yellow with a thick white head. smells yeasty and bright. taste is almost tart, mellow - a tiny bit of banana, some wheatiness, no flaws but not weizen-y tasting. mouthfeel is thick and foamy. considering this is a cheap beer, its a great one to throw in for sessioning as it is pretty tasty, though definitely does not fit the taste profile of a proper weizen.

bottle. Cloudy straw-golden yellow, large and creamy white head. Yeasty and slightly fruity with banana hints.A tad thin perhaps, otherwise not much wrong here.
