Wer will mir das glauben...

Pours in nice and typically for a Kellerbier, hazy and amber in color. Smells of grain and yeast are noticeable. Cereal taste and hopped a bit too much for my taste. Lively carbonated, and bitter in the finish with an aftertaste of malt. I finally decided to give the beers from Oettinger a chance, their reputation in germany isn´t the best, but it´s fairly cheap to try them all.

Hazy amber. Caramel, malty, lightly toasted, some floral and herbal hops/bitterness. Medium to light bodied. Great value, but nothing amazing.

500 ml bottle picked up in Garmisch, Germany. Pours a hazy gold color with a frothy off white head. Aroma is sweet malt and paper. Taste is stale and slightly offensive. Palate has a lingering bitter stale flavor. Its a cheap beer but it is drinkable.

Bottled (thanks Kim!). Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some grass and mild herbal notes. Flavour is toffee, some floral hops and mild cellary notes. A quite easy Kellerbier.

Moebbels (382) - FINLAND - AUG 21, 2013
A hazy body with a dark orange color. The large fluffy head is white with a slightly orange tone. Nose is mild has notes of malts and earthy hops. Taste is slightly bitter with a longish dry aftertaste. Palate is slightly creamy but thehigh carbonation does not support it quite perfectly. Overall decent but nothing spectacular.

Leichte Karamellnoten. Karamellig süßes und erneut wässriger Nachgeschmack. 8/8/8/7/9/8
