3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
500ml bottle: poured golden yellow with a smallish white head. Lots of tiny streaming bubbles coming up from the bottom. Mild spicy hop aroma. Light spiciness in the flavor with just a touch of cardboard. Very mild fruit-slight grape. Nice full bitterness in the finish. Pretty good beer and very drinkable.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours straw colored with a shallow white semi creamy froth that lingers. Aroma is faint with mile away biscuits. Light nectar with residual effers. Flavors are mellow and clean. Definately a sessionable. I’m actually impressed from a can standpoint. No musty skunk flavors. Nice bittering on the finish. This one hits the spot. This is a great canned Pilsener.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
The worst thing I can say about this beer is that it is a swill lager with a genuine hop character. And that’s not that bad! At worst, its a great beer if you’re a believer in training wheels intro’s for your swill drinking friends. Pours a straw color, but with a 2 finger creamy head. Aroma is zesty and spicy (thyme) hops. Flavor is also hop accented, with the thymey hops prevalent front to back. Malt sweetness is virtually non-existent. The palate is expectedly light, as a result, but not overly thin and watery. The finish is hoppy bitter, but on the light end, as the beer on the whole is lightly flavored. As I said, essentially a swill lager, but with a nice, genuine hop character. Sample was from a can (not directly of course) at 11am on Father’s Day.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 5/20
Light yellow pour, white head, sweet malty, corn tortilla aroma. Some hops, sweet corny flavor, rather light body, somewhat bitter finish, but not all that pleasing. Besides the name, not a good beer at all. Hardly worth finishing.

(0.5L) Golden body with white head. Dry and bitter taste. Not much body. Cheapest beer you can buy in Hamburg, also the favorite of the area homeless.

Excuse my French, aber Oettinger ist die widerlichste Plürre, die ich je getrunken habe. Puh! Da kann das Zeug noch so billig sein.
It’s good enough for our local homeless people however.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
24-12oz. cans for $9.99. Light straw color with a diminished white head. Light pale malt aromas with a hint of floral hops. Light sweet pale malt followed by a acidic bite that has a distinct bitterness. Quite the palate cleanser. Mild white wine quality. A mild malt linger. A lawn-mowing brew.
