Pours a clear and rather pale gold color. Head is white and creamy, medium lasting. It leaves a small lacing. Aroma is citrusy hoppy and fresh with notes of herbs and lemon/lime. There is some anise and mint leaves with a thin malty backbone showing faint hitns of grains. Light bittersweet and fresh flavor. There is finally the malt that’s not present in the aroma. Initial malty sweetness with a touch of lemony hops, the finish is a little more bitter, but soft nevertheless. Difuse touches of watermelon are also there. Very smooth mouthfeel. This beer gently dissolves in the mouth. Juicy texture. Medium carbonation. Medium grainy finish too. A simple, straight-forward german pils, very easy to drink but rather boring.

Solid yellow with a long lasting white head. Weak aroma of corn and some malt. Starts out sweet but ends with an acidic bitterness. Lingering hoppy dryness. Ok for something out a can.

500ml bottle: poured golden yellow with a smallish white head. Lots of tiny streaming bubbles coming up from the bottom. Mild spicy hop aroma. Light spiciness in the flavor with just a touch of cardboard. Very mild fruit-slight grape. Nice full bitterness in the finish. Pretty good beer and very drinkable.

Pours straw colored with a shallow white semi creamy froth that lingers. Aroma is faint with mile away biscuits. Light nectar with residual effers. Flavors are mellow and clean. Definately a sessionable. I’m actually impressed from a can standpoint. No musty skunk flavors. Nice bittering on the finish. This one hits the spot. This is a great canned Pilsener.

The worst thing I can say about this beer is that it is a swill lager with a genuine hop character. And that’s not that bad! At worst, its a great beer if you’re a believer in training wheels intro’s for your swill drinking friends. Pours a straw color, but with a 2 finger creamy head. Aroma is zesty and spicy (thyme) hops. Flavor is also hop accented, with the thymey hops prevalent front to back. Malt sweetness is virtually non-existent. The palate is expectedly light, as a result, but not overly thin and watery. The finish is hoppy bitter, but on the light end, as the beer on the whole is lightly flavored. As I said, essentially a swill lager, but with a nice, genuine hop character. Sample was from a can (not directly of course) at 11am on Father’s Day.
