Golden color with a white head. The taste is a sweet light malty body with a bitter hoppy finish.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
This was better than expected. Belongs definitely to the Eastern Germany more rough tradition...no "pop"-pils.Fruity/acid all the way through. Some sweetness, not watery at all. Long and dry.

1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
Way too watery even for this pils, I know its a great value, but its missing almost everything, try the export, its a bit better, and usually the same price!

Medium Head with a very light yellow appearance. It has very little taste of anything, definitely will not repeat.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle, from a supermarket in Köln. Gold, thin white head and gentle condition. Little aroma except for a vague startchiness, gentle chalky maltiness in the mouth and a slight sweetness in the finish.

1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Botle. This beer wouldn’t be that bad except for the rotten taste and aroma. It has a pale golden color with a white head. I can smell and taste hops, but the rancid other flavors kind of drown it out.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: SEP 15, 2007 (Canned) Pale golden with a medium, frothy and a bit lacy, quickly fading head. Sweetish-corny-malty aroma with grassy-herby hops and metal. Somewhat acidic, corny-malty and moderately grassy-hoppy, slightly papery flavor. Light-bodied, but not watery and reasonably crisp and refreshing palate with quite high and slightly fizzy carbonation. A very basic, light-bodied German-style pils. Not much different from what Lidl offers us, but ok as a thirst quencher.
(Bottled, was 4-2-5-2-10=2.3) Paleish yellow color with a medium, lacy head. Slightly hoppy, flowery aroma. Quite sweet, flowery/herby, hoppy, slightly artificial flavor with a very short, bitter finish. Light to medium-bodied, reasonably crisp palate with medium carbonation. A quite typical, light and cheap German pilsener.
