[bottle] Sourish, musty, coffee aroma, with a touch of noble hops. Almost opaque black, with some garnet at the edges. Tan foam quickly drops to a ring and wisps. The flavour began a bit sour--to the point that I checked the best by date (I bought this yesterday in Marburg, Germany and the best by date is in May). Sour, almost acrid flavour with dark malt burnt that clears to an almost pleasant, biscuity vanilla. Notes of celery that seems to mingle interestingly with the moderate bitterness. Medium body, moderate carbonation, clean finish.

Bottle. Almost black with off-white mostly diminishing head. Malt, chocolate and a touch of coffee in the arome. Same flavor though suplemented with a little sweetness. Short rather metallic finish.

Dark brown colour with a medium foamy brown head. Shy nose of toasted malts. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted bread, caramel, and straw, but the body is a little thin.

[Bottle bought in Flensburg at 3 am after Deutschland-Portugal (3-1)]. Normally you can drink only a few schwarzbiers before you are stuffed, but thisone is so thin, that you can continue for hours and good for that at that night. No doubt that it’s a schwarzbier, but it’s watery and could need more body. Otherwise it contains the usually notes as roasted malt and chocolate.

Bottle. Blackish colour with a huge mostly lasting light brown head. Aroma and taste of roasted malts, sugar and fruits. A bit watery like most schwarzbiers. Godd one though.

Beautiful deep nutty brown red colour with little creamy off-white head. Lightly roasted aroma with nutty and raisin tones. Very sweet taste with roasted and some sweet fruity tones. Good mouthfeel - quite good.

500ml bottle: poured very dark brown with some red highlights. Smallish tan head. Light roasted malt aroma and slightly nutty. Flavor is also slightly nutty with a touch of cherry. Light roastiness. Decent body. I liked it.

Light roasted chocolaty aroma. Dark brown, failing head. Watery, sugary, minerally, slightly skunky. How can you consistently fail to brew a good beer like that?

Bottle: Almost black with a big, fluffy off-white head, ,quickly diminishing to a small foamy layer; shy malty nose (with an illusion of molasses and roasted malts), sweetish, but mainly dry malty bitter flavour; mild, a bit bitter and a bit fruity finish. Neither unpleasant, nor tasty.......................
