I can only promise that I am not wearing piss soaked clothing and that I live on the street. I also advance the promise that I have all my teeth and all my worldly possessions aren’t sitting in a shopping trolley beside me under a bridge somewhere. But, if I was homeless, definitely the beer of choice. Eurolager at its most normal with a fairly strong flavour and plenty of residual sweetness. Guaranteed to take away the pain and make tomorrow slightly worse than it would otherwise be.

.5l can in Belgrade. Clear and a bit rich orange with a 5 second head. Spicy rich euro lager, alc and malt. Sweet ugly spiced heavy lager. Tart alcohol all the way through. Typical for high abv lager, but not the worst I’ve tried.

Recomendado. Appearance 4: or Head (color, consistency and duration): Mid-term firm Blanca or body (texture, char particles and color): Gold slightly reddish, slightly hazy with no particles visible. • Aroma (8): honey and candy. • Palate 4 (Body texture carbonization final): thick and creamy sweet throat end. • Taste 8d (start, end and duration): Honey and beans, very light smoking. Overall: Similar to the Baltic September 1 strong beer but in my opinion has a more pleasant and less pronounced alcohol flavor. Recommended.

Can from a convenience store in Kuala Lumpur. Poured a crystal clear medium amber with a broken white head and a little lace. The aroma is sickly sweet toffee caramel. The flavour is medium to strong sweet with a sweet malt alcoholic bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. I really can’t believe there is a market in Asia for such awful strong European beers. Do the Asians this is what we drink and that this is quality stuff? I sure hope not. It says it all when I live in the Netherlands and can buy Dutch brewed beers in Malaysia that are not available in my home country. Wake up Asia and smell the coffee. This “beer” is awful and the world has moved on.

Can, 8.9%. Sweetish and mildly dusty aroma. The flavour is sweet, caramelly, spicy and quite boozy. Warming alcohol aftertaste. Well-balanced in spite of a lot of alcohol. Like a good Polish mocne.

Can. Pours clear light straw with airy white head. Clear aroma of yeast, with notes of malt and hops. Sweet, malty flavour, with notes of yeast and hops. Warming alcohol presence. Not the worst beer of this style I have tasted but nothing that would make me ask for more.

500 ml can bought at Park N Shop Super Store in Fanling.

Golden honey yellow colour; Razor thin head with soapy white foam which fades in 10 seconds; Minimal sticky lacing with active small carbonation; Very strong sweet smell of malt, with strong corn syrup, sick caramel, medicine, soggy bread, light lemon and faint grass; Very strong sweet taste of malt, with thick corn syrups, alcohol, caustic soda, peach concentrate, very light lemon, and light bitter grass; Medium body, oily palate; Mouth feel is very sweet and cloying corn syrup all over an otherwise pretty malty brew. Booze is strong, cheap but quite clean, there’s even some peach-like taste courtesy of the syrups, but the sweetness is quite unbearable unless you have strong teeth… Hoppiness is light lemon and thin grass in nose and taste, hop extract for a notable low bitter taste, but otherwise it ends in syrup finish; Fairly dry after taste, oily and cloying to mouth.

Comments: Because of the syrup overkill, this is bad, but this is not as super-sweet, or as horrible as Breda XXX. The malt is good and the booze is quite okay, but still the syrupy sweetness ruins it all. Drain pours, of course.

Wow, an imperial wheat beer. Nice idea! Filtered golden color. White head. Aroma of wheat that’s been in storage a very long time. Smooth flavor with a good beer bite and only tastes of wheat that’s been fermented a longer time and sweet floral hop extract. Damn extract. Make a real beer Ottinger! F**king ******s!
