Bottle. The merest hint of malt aroma. Tan clear color with small head. Initial barley taste with balance malt and hops. Fairly weak for the style.

Small head..disappears immediately. Has some decent citrus notes that don't show up in the taste at all. Pretty sharp on the pallet. Sure was cheap though! Better than a lot of beers at this price. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

13.03.2013. 0,5l Bottle. Flensburg. Golden amber colour with white head. Rather rich malty aroma with good body. Sweet with notes of grain. Aftertaste is medium bitter with soft bitter tones. Sweet at the end as well.

bottle. Clear red-amber-brown colour, mid-sized white head. Medium-bodied, malty base with a grainy touch and some medicinal, resiny-herbal hops in the finish. Not the nicest hops, still quite ok.

Bottle from a friend. Light malty smell with some boiled vegetables. Malty taste with some cereal and a hint of honey. Drinkable, but nothing special.

(bottle) pours a clear deep golden-amber colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of roasted malts, white grapes, light marzipan and a hint of ash, slightly meaty with notes of bread dough. flavour is heavy roasted popcorn, light caramel and herbal hops, with a slightly alcoholic light roasted-bitter finish. medium-bodied with average carbonation.

Test vom 18.5.2009, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,8,8,7,7,8 - 7,90

Bottle shared with MichaelBruch. Very delicious seasonal beer with a medium-balanced bitterness and sweetness.

UPDATED: DEC 24, 2012 0,5 l bottle. Maybe the best brew from oettinger. Amber in colour, nice malty and caramel aroma. Still quite easy to drink. To recommend.
