3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Knowing O’Fallon makes a 5 Day IPA, this is what I expected from their 10 day. Has the same bold grapefruit-like flavor only slightly more bitter and delicious.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a cloudy amber with a big long lasting antique lace head. Aroma is mild piney hops. Taste is sweet caramel malt followed by tons of hop bitterness. Seems like more than the advertised 75 IBUs. Alcohol amazingly goes un-noticed. Pretty good brew, but more hoppy than I like.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy, deep amber-copper pour with a frothy, off-white head. The aroma is all hops; herbal and earthy. It has a full body with slightly oily texture and lively carbonation. The taste is bitter with a long, alcohol finish.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Fresh bottle pours a burnt orange / blood orange reddish hue, slightly unclear with off white near eggshell foam. The aroma is a little soapy but with rich sweet toffee malts and some floral pine. The flavor is more malty with a light creamy base malt that starts smooth but lends itself a touch grainy in the finish with some light toffee and toasted whole grain bread. The hops play a strong role but not the feature. It comes out very smooth and mostly well balanced with a well rounded sweet orange citrus with a nice soft flowery middle and a little more pine coming though in the finish with a mix off all the playing off the richness of the roasted malts. It had a modest very tightly knit carbonation that sharpens the hops in the finish but smoothes the malts in the finish and leaves nice lacing all the way down. While fairly well constructed it leaves a finishing flavor that doesn?t suit as well as the first sip, so I found myself not liking the bitter end but enjoyed it most of the way through.

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pleasantly surprised with this offering. Murky amber pour with tall beige head. Smells of sticky citrus and flower patch. Resin fruit hop and heavy malt on the tongue, evened out with solid bitterness and subtle grass notes. Medium body, quick finish. Well done.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pour is a dark red with a nice tan head. Aroma is a decent pine hop. Flavor is a strong, heavy malt with some hops in the back round. After the swallow a decent earthy malt is left on the tongue. Real heavy malt mouthfeel makes this more American strong ale than Double IPA. The hop presence is never over the top b/c the heavy malts take away everything. This is fresh but this is what a IIPA sitting on the shelf for months usually tastes like.
