COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We dry-hop this American Style India Pale Ale with seven grains and four domestic hop varieties by adding dry whole hops to the finishing tank so the beer rests "on top" of the hops for five extra days! Malty sweetness up front with big cascade and glacier hops in the finish -- a wonderfully drinkable IPA!

Pours a cloudy orange with a small off-white head. Aroma of floral and citrus hops withs some malts. Flavor is mostly sweet malts with a slight hint of floral hops at the finish. This is nowhere near an IPA as it is quite lacking of a nice strong hop aroma or flavor. However, it is quite drinkable and would be better suited as a different style.

Bottle at Butters’ Slutfest: No aroma. Clear amber, medium yellow head. Light lemon zest flavor. Really weak for an IPA, not even an APA. Disappointing.

Definitely drinkable. Aroma is decent. For dry hopping you would think it would be better. Palate is nice. It’s tastes good. Its malty and dry. Finishes a little flat. I think if it finished a little more dry, I’d love it. But definitely a good beer.

decent, but no Loose Cannon. Under carbonated out of the bottle and not balanced enough between hops/malt for my proletarian palate There it is- Csar

12 oz bottle, pours a copper color with medium head. Hoppy flavor. Not a big finish for me.

Very, very dry, almost everythink else is in the background, not a very easy ale to drink.

12oz bottle (received in trade with jdskinns) -

A really drinkable IPA that seems to push the aroma of hops to the front line and lets the malts do the talking in the back. Smelling this beer really seemed citrusy as all get out, with some floral notes like lavender and honey popping their head up. Flavor is a little sweet for my liking though, and does bring down the score. Some caramel malts, french bread... kinda candy-ish after awhile and the hops can’t stop the sweetness. A little unbalanced. Palate is smooth and creamy. Body is amber, clear with a really pillowy off-white head. Overall, a pretty nice IPA. Wouldn’t quite call it hop-forward, but the aroma is fantastic.

Pours from a bottle, a dense copper color with only slight lace. Medium body, somewhat creamy mouthfeel, dominant hop flavor and bitterness. Maltiness is there but dominated by the hops. A decent American IPA.
